Think your fluffy friend is just naturally fabulous? Trust us… there’s a LOT going on under there! 😂

Double-coated dogs need regular grooming to keep that undercoat healthy, reduce shedding and prevent those sneaky mats from setting up camp! 🏕️🐾

🚫 And the big one… WE NEVER SHAVE!
Their coat is their natural protection from the elements. Shaving can cause coat damage, increase the risk of sunburn and overheating, and sometimes the coat may not grow back the same. 😬

So instead of going ✂️ “BUZZ BUZZ, FLUFF BE GONE!”
we’re all about bath, blow-dry, de-shed, brush & FLOOF! 💜✨

📅 Regular grooming every 4–8 weeks can help keep that beautiful double coat happy and healthy.

🐾 BRUSHING 101 — WHERE SHOULD YOU FOCUS? 🐾

Not every area needs the same amount of attention! ✨

🧼 Feet & face = HIGH PRIORITY
These areas can collect dirt, develop knots quickly and need regular gentle brushing.

👂 Ears & tail = HIGH PRIORITY
These are common trouble spots for tangles, so don’t forget to give them some extra love!

🐶 Body = LOWER PRIORITY
Still needs brushing, but generally requires less attention than those fiddly areas.

✨ TOP TIP: A few minutes of regular brushing is much better than leaving it all until the day before a groom!

🐾 LET’S TALK MATTING — ROSIE’S FIRST GROOM 🐾

Meet Rosie the Poochon! 🤍 Her first time with us and she was definitely overdue a little refresh. With her parents’ busy lives, unfortunately the matting had got on top of them — and that’s okay! 🫶🏼

We NEVER blame you for matting. Our job is to educate, support and work together to keep your pup happy, healthy and comfortable. 🐶✨

⚠️ Matting can pull on the skin, cause discomfort, hide skin issues and trap moisture.

✨ To help prevent it:
• Brush little and often
• Use the correct brush & comb
• Brush right down to the skin
• Pay attention to ears, armpits, legs & collar areas
• Keep up with regular grooming appointments

Life gets busy — we understand! ❤️ No judgement, just education and teamwork.
