Today marks my first day back at work, and I’m feeling all the emotions 💜

After spending precious time with my little one, I’m officially back doing what I love at Chiltern Groomers ✂️🐾

It’s been such a special chapter, but I’m so excited to get back to pampering your lovely pups and catching up with all my amazing clients. Thank you so much for your patience and support while I’ve been away—it truly means the world 💕

Ever seen a handstrip in action? Sarah’s speedy hands show you how it’s done on Barney the Border Terrier. Hand-stripping is a natural process that can be done on certain breeds. It doesn’t hurt the dog, pulling out the dead guard hairs to maintain coat texture and colour. 🐾✂️

Hi everyone, Sarah here!

I can’t believe it’s already been three months since I started at Chiltern Groomers — the time has absolutely flown by and we’re almost into spring! I’ve really enjoyed meeting so many of our lovely clients and getting to know your wonderful dogs. Some of them I’ve already had the pleasure of seeing twice, which makes it even nicer as I start putting names to all those adorable faces.

A little bit about me — I’m 39 and live with my partner and our 11-month-old little girl. I used to show Irish Setters and had my own very handsome boy called Hero. We even qualified for Crufts together!

I’ve been grooming for nearly 20 years now, and it’s actually how I first met Jo when she came to train at the salon I was working in. We’ve been great friends ever since ❤️
I have a qualification in City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Professional Dog Grooming and I’m passionate about what I do!

Outside of grooming, I love all things creative, including crochet, oil painting, and other arts and crafts — so the artistic side of dog grooming suits me perfectly!

I’m really looking forward to meeting many more of you and your pups over the coming months! 🐾

I’m not sure where nearly 8 months have gone! It’s really flown by! I’ve had an amazing time with Ollie, he’s changing every day. It’s nearly time to come back to work, I have missed everybody 2 legged and 4 legged! My diary will be open Mondays and Wednesday from the 1st April 2026. All the usual ways to book with both Sarah and myself. See you soon 👋🏻
