The amount of rain that’s fell consistently over the past few weeks means the ground is wet and more muddy than usual. Please expect and be prepared for a muddy mucky pup if attending.

Also we have noticed an increase in hole digging.

PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS TO DIG OR DAMAGE THE GROUND

if your dog does create a hole before you can stop them then there is a bucket in the summerhouse which you can use to collect soil to refill them (Mr Mole always has some spare spoil on the go in his usual spots throughout the field)

*IMPORTANT NOTICE*
Following several reports from field users over the past week or so we have to unfortunately ask again for everyone to please be mindful of the terms and conditions of field usage especially the following ~
*** PICK UP after your dogs. Poo Bags and bin are provided so really there is no excuse. It’s inconsiderate and whilst we appreciate the odd one can be missed it’s becoming clear that some field users are just not bothering at all.
(Please don’t put other rubbish in the bin. It is for dog waste only. Take your other rubbish home INCLUDING cigarette ends please)
** DO NOT ALLOW DIGGING, discourage your dog from digging holes and damaging the ground, if digging occurs please use the soil in summerhouse to fill it) It has become clear we have a persistent and destructive digger visiting regularly and this isn’t allowed as holes present a hazard to other field users.
** DO NOT TURN UP BEFORE YOUR SLOT and TRY TO LEAVE on time (at ten to the hour) the 10min gap between appointments is there for a purpose and no one should be in the field during that window.
Please let us know immediately if you encounter any issues with the above problems so we can act accordingly.
Anyone found continually breaking the terms and conditions of usage will be asked not to come back unfortunately as it’s unfair on the other field users. We are still considering installing CCTV but this would obviously come at a cost and we don’t want to have to raise our prices to fund surveillance 😞… We will be doing spot checks randomly (within the 10min free window between slots) over the next few weeks and hopefully this is just a blip from a few users who weren’t fully aware of the t&c’s 🤞

Vet Bedding is a non-slip rubber backed deep pile cosy fleece material bed/mat for dogs/cats and small animals. It is a quality product manufactured here in the UK.
The unique polyester fibres made from recycled materials are designed in a way which allows fluids to drain quickly from the top layer so it stays dry making it more hygienic and comfortable for crates/whelping boxes/kittening or for convalescing/elderly or arthritic pets. Simply pop a puppy pad under it and all the liquids will be absorbed into it making clean up quick and easy.

WEATHER WARNING ⚠️… we have some EXTREME HEAT coming over then next few days. Please don’t chance it! We appreciate forecasts aren’t always accurate so you can wait and decide last minute on the day and we will reschedule/refund no problem at all 😊 The heat can be lethal for a dog and it’s just not worth the risk. No dog ever died from missing a walks or two 👍

The temperature looks like it’s rising very high later this week and over the weekend. Please feel free to re-schedule or if you want to see how it goes (as we all know the forecast can change day to day) don’t panic about missing your slot. Anybody that doesn’t attend their booking can contact us for a free reschedule (even if your appointments time is already passed)
This means your free to wait until the time to make the correct judgement call on the weather without worrying about losing your payment. Better safe than sorry and the heat is no joke with dogs. Please always air on the side of caution. Don’t take the chance if your not sure.
No dog ever died from missing a walk or two but dogs die every year from being mismanaged in the heat 🥲
