Beautiful start to the day 🌈 for our polework clinic with Annie Brooker Dressage
Lovely bunch of people, with the usual great mix of exercises from Annie. Fancy footwork through the labyrinth, softness in the bend round the X and straightness and subtle bends through the IIIXIII 😀
Wonder what we'll be doing next time...

Long-reining is highly beneficial for many reasons when done correctly, so it's a useful skill to learn! Leave a comment if you're interested 🙂👇

Preferably to stay local, or go to someone we know!

16.1 5yo mare. Backed by me last year and turned away oct-march to grow.

Restarted slowly as can be sensitive, but proving to be maturing into a straightforward horse in the school- (walk, trot, canter, leg yield and poles)

Hacks out in company and alone, good with the traffic we've met, plus sheep, cows etc. Can be noise sensitive, but getting less so, the more she does.

Please note- she is green, so needs someone to quietly give her confidence to continue her education, but this makes her a total blank canvas for someone to take out and see the world and have some fun with!

Well, we made it to Regionals and what a good boy he was. Not a perfect test, but he did everything exactly when I asked ( and we didn't leave the arena!), and made me feel much more confident in my ability 😅

I always knew I was in over my head in the Gold section, up against some very nice, and much more established young horses!

I wasn't sure even a week ago if I'd compete, since it's taken a long time to get back in the swing of things , but I'm glad I did and hopefully my dear Lukey is proud up there 🧡

Happy Birthday Mum🥳and thanks for making the quick 5 hour trip to Bicton today 😭😬

Poor Neville had a horrible journey, but we eventually made it. I didn't think I was going to ride, I just wanted to get there and get him out the box, but he was full of beans, so we went for it!

A very wobbly 68% and a less wobbly 70% which is outstanding considering the circumstances 😅🌟
Can't thank Bicton Arena and judge Carrie Payne enough for letting me and a few others ride our tests midway through the Medium classes!

Mum sent me off to my first ever solo show 😬 Jegro hasn't been to a show since September, so it was nice to get him back...

Mum sent me off to my first ever solo show 😬 Jegro hasn't been to a show since September, so it was nice to get him back between the boards!

Two rusty Medium tests, but as always, he was impeccably behaved 🌟 Homework is to find his go button again 🐎💨
