I'm looking for a lady that was with her rescue dog in in Bovey Tracey on Friday at around 10.30am.

The dog was called Hugo and was a large yellow labrador or labrador cross.

You were with a friend who had a Collie and there were some kids with you.

I was the lady with the black labrador and teenage girl.

Hugo came bounding over to say hello then it all went a bit pear shaped. You scared my dog but he's OK.

You told me he was a rescue and that you were working hard with him. I didn't hear the next bit but my daughter heard you say 'that's it, he's going back'.

Please don't send him back it's hard for rescue dogs (and definitely their new humans). He was probably just feeling a bit overwhelmed. These things happen.

I'd like to offer you a free 1:1 session to help you and Hugo.

It's not your fault and it's not his. Adopting a rescue dog is a journey, often a bumpy one. You can do this. Send me a message.

Beautiful Koa....

After 10 weeks of social walks with his guardian and myself, this is his 3rd walk without her.

Koa struggled with the correct way to greet other dogs initially, feling very nervous, even from a long distance away.... but is now walking amongst the others... having body contact, interactions and doesn't react at all.

I'm very proud of how well he is doing, and of all the hard work his owner has put in behind the scenes...❤️❤️
