Handsome Buck! 🥰

​With the temperatures rising, it can be easy to assume your double coated dog is too warm and needs to be shaved or cut short. However, shaving a double coat actually has the opposite effect!
​The issue isn't the length of the fur, but the dead undercoat that gets trapped underneath. When that old hair builds up, it acts like a heavy blanket, stopping the cool air from reaching their skin.
​The answer to this conundrum? A simple deshed schedule! Keeping up with regular grooming appointments helps stay on top of removing that heavy undercoat, leaving you with a happy, cool dog! 🐶☀️
