We have a lovely breeding pair of severums that are looking for a new home.

We're selling them at a discounted price as they've been with us awhile.

Please note, severums require a spacious tank (300L+) and should be kept with larger sized fish as they can become territorial when breeding. They'll be good with silver dollars, plecos, larger peaceful catfish such as hoplos or larger tetras in schools.

Please message us or call the garden centre and ask for aquatics if your interested.

🐟🌿 A day in the life of our aquatic team 🌿🐟

We wasn't happy with where our big display tank was so we decided to relocate it 🙈

Its not a small job. You've got to take out the woods/rock, drain the water down into multiple buckets, unscrew the doors, unplug all the electrics and worst of all.. lift about half a ton of weight without cracking the glass. This all has to be done in a timely manner so it causes the least amount of stress to the fish as possible 😬

We've had a few comments in store about the disappearance of our beautiful aquascaping tank 👀
So what happened?

Due to a faulty light and not having a suitable replacement we decided to make the decision to close it down 😥 (don't worry, the fish that were in it were moved into our big fluval tank 😀)

HOWEVER.... we have some good news 👀

Due to the popularity of having the display tank and the guys at aquadistri kindly gifting us a replacement, we're happy to say its back in action and has been completely rescaped by our very talented Carley 🥰

Everything you see we stock in store so you too can transform your tank into a underwater haven for your fish.

We've been tinkering about in our aquatic section again 👀

We've given our fluval section a much needed glow up as it was starting to look a bit unruly (kind of like our Allan 😅) and we think it looks so much better.

We stock a wide range of their products and we highly recommend them so if your looking for a reliable filter, heater, light or just some accessories then pop down and come and have a chat with us. We always give free, no pressure, honest advice 😁

Okay but how cute is our new Petface Foodie Faces stand?! 😭🍓🥦

We’ve spent far too long standing looking at the tiny smiley fruits and veg deciding which one we’d take home ourselves 😂
There’s squeaky tomato's, happy little lemons, chunky carrots, bananas, peas… honestly the dogs are spoiled at this point.
The best part? Watching people realise they’re dog toys and not soft toys for children 👀🐶

We’ve had a brilliant few weeks working over at Centre Vale Hall care home in Todmorden, setting up not one but TWO large aquariums for the residents to enjoy 🐟

Our aquatic team built the tanks, got everything installed, and then got stuck into the fun part – aquascaping them with wood, rocks and plenty of planting. Once everything was looking just right, we stocked them up with fish and plants, all from our own range at the garden centre.

It’s been great to see them come to life, and even better knowing they’ll bring a bit of calm and interest to everyone at the care home day-to-day.
Big shoutout to the team for putting the time and care into this one 👏

We’ve revamped our dog toy section and it’s packed with loads of brand new lines we’ve never stocked before! From squeaky vinyl toys and super tough chewers, to soft cuddly favourites and plenty of new puppy toys – there’s honestly something for every dog (and every kind of play).

Even better? We’ve got 3 for 2 on selected lines, so now’s the perfect time to spoil your pup 🐶💙
