From building Lego to building a home, well a guinea pig home! Despite the snow today managed to get the new house built to replace the old one that's falling apart. They're now happily ensconced in their new place, smaller run but much lighter and easier to move so they can access fresh grass daily (or more depending on how loudly they wheak at us)

💔 DYING PIG NEEDS US NOW 💔

I’m so sorry we’ve been quiet on socials, today has been a day from hell. 1 animal emergency turned into 3, but right now we need to focus on Pumba. This morning, at 7:00 a.m., we got a call and all we heard was:

A baby pig.
Uncontrollable seizures.
Blind and deaf.
Won’t eat or drink.
Meningitis symptoms.
Dying.

We knew the odds. We knew how small the window was, if there even was one. And we knew that if we didn’t move immediately, this little life would be gone.

We’ve said we weren’t taking in more animals until the River Center is finished. We meant that. We are stretched thin.

But then there was him and his caring owner crying on the other end of the phone for someone to save him. She said she didn’t even have the funds to euthanize him, but only wanted to find him help.

We couldn’t say no.

Kristin and Bre jumped in the car and rushed to pick him up. We didn’t think he was going to make the drive back to the farm, he had over 25 seizures. Bre held him in her arms and in tears supported him through every episode. He struggled to breathe. His tiny body convulsed again and again.😭

He is here now, but his prognosis is guarded. If he survives he’s going to need MONTHS of EXTENSIVE medical care.

Thanks to our amazing Dr. Hawkins, a heavy hitting treatment plan has already been implemented.

We’re going to do all we can save his precious life.

This little one has had a rough start to life, the kind no baby should ever know. And yet, he is still holding on. Still choosing to stay. Still fighting for a future he’s never been allowed to imagine.

🙏 We are asking you to fight with us, fight for Pumba. He needs you.

His medical care will be extensive, and the road ahead is uncertain—but your support gives him a chance.

Please donate. Please share. Please pray for him.

He’s still here because he wants to be.
And we want to give him the life he’s been fighting for. 🐖💔

As soon as Cocoa was old enough to be a risk to his sister and mother of pregnancy, he moved into his own run. He has since been neutered (as have the girls as it's much healthier for them) but the bond was broken and we didn't have space to have all the buns together. We've now figured out the space issue and after being in runs side by side for weeks, to familiarise themselves safely through the divides, Cocoa has moved back in with Cinnabun and Mrs Taco today. There was a little anxiety from him (and a lot from us), some chasing and hu***ng from both the siblings, but zero aggression which was fantastic. Right away Cocoa was lying down next to his mum and she was entirely chilled with the situation. Our buns are so lovely. Just hoping when we finally add Jorge and Cesar to the mix, it goes as smoothly!

There must be a way to save the Prince Charles Cinema from closure. It’s a cinematic cultural icon the city of London cannot afford to lose.
