Great rides today for Max & Barney over a full up show jump course & testing 70cm course XC 👏 Unfortunately though a couple of pilot errors but still managed a team 5th with Tiverton PC, well done to all & to the other Tiverton PC team who came 3rd! 👏

Have just spent a lovely hot Thursday & Friday at Offchurch Bury for JCB Pony Club Eventing Championships supporting Zak & Karen Perrott. Zak & Benji had qualified with Team Tiverton with Jessica M & Jessica S for the 90cm, only 3 & not a 4 so all scores had to count!

On Thursday Zak did a respectable Dressage test to get 35.6 & rode a lovely clear Show jump round, very pleased with the first day!

Friday XC - a technical course, 2 or 3 elements with sharp turns, positioning of fences on unlevel ground to test horse & rider.
The sun god was kind to us & dissappeared behind clouds for a while when Zak started warming up.
A good clear round but unfortunately a couple time penalties, but both home safe!

Congratulations to Zak & his team mates in Team Tiverton who came 8th out of 56 teams, a great achievement! Absolutely brilliant! 👏👏👏👏👏
Benji on well deserved holiday for a bit, such a star! 💖

A little update!
Some extra fabulous photos of Hatti & Spice! Doing so well in a short space of time!
Another of my young riders was out competing today at West Somerset Pony Club at Stockland Lovell.
Hatti had a 4th in the 40cm unassisted & a 2nd in the 50cm assisted Showjumping.
Well done Hatti & Spice! 👏👏 See you tomorrow!

Many congratulations to Zak Perrott & Benji winning the Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships 90cm Junior boys section! And a team Tiverton PC first! Congratulations too to other team members!👏👏👏
Thoroughly deserved, Zak has worked really hard to keep improving his skills in all disciplines but especially his riding!
He had a great ride XC, very technical course & unlevel ground but they managed it really well!
A short rest & then off to Pony Club Horse Trials Championships for Thursday!

Max Perrott & Barney also had a super Championships in the boys Stepping Stones Tetrathlon section, his first Championships, came 9th out of 20 competitors.
He rode really well & had a super clear XC round!

I'm so thrilled for them, well done boys!!! 👏👏👏

Video below is fence 10, Zak & I had team call with Mum before the XC having looked at the course on the app, knew they could do it!

Reiki & communication sesions for 4 horses today near Newton Poppleford & Sidmouth.
2 done - one horse was 2nd sesion, glad to hear much improved, much more relaxed in herself.
Looking forward to update on the other horse in due course after first sesion.

2 to go - have seen these two several times before, so more of wellbeing sesions to re- balance their energy & address anything that has cropped up since their last sesion.

Reiki healing & communication work so well together. The holistic way of Reiki can help address energy imbalances, issues or problems on all levels, mental, emotional or physical as well as wellbeing sesions to bring a horse into being balanced, grounded, settled & content.
