What have the dogs behind Tuckers Trails got up to this week 🐶🐾🥾

When I first started my business, I did it because I felt like I wasn’t spending enough time with my own dogs. I was working 12-hour shifts and was absolutely shattered by the time I got home, so I wanted to create a life where I could spend more time with them. When we first started out, they came along on pretty much every walk possible. They were my little sidekicks and were always out exploring with me. Now the business has grown they don’t get to join me quite as much. But rest assured they still have the best time. This week they’ve been out exploring, having plenty of adventures, enjoying some fun training and, of course, getting lots of time together. I honestly couldn’t have created the life they have without all of my amazing customers. So here’s a little look at what the dogs behind Tuckers Trails have been getting up to this week! 🐶❤️

🐾 A belated post of last week’s walks! 🥾

We kicked off the week with our adventure walk with the crazy cocker crew and as the weather has cooled down a little we were able to get all of our group walks back to their usual times. On Thursday I had the absolute pleasure of looking after one of my regulars for the whole day before taking her along to her owners wedding for some photos🫶

Safe to say the spaniel had a blast on there adventure walk this morning 🌳🏞️☀️

Recall on Our Group Walks 🐾

One of the questions we’re asked most is, “Does my dog need good recall to join your group walks?” The answer is no!

Some dogs come to us with 100% reliable recall, some have a little and some have none at all. Wherever they’re starting from, that’s absolutely fine. Recall is something we work on during every single walk. Every dog starts out on a longline, whether they already have great recall or not. This allows us to assess each dog’s reliability in a safe and controlled way. Some dogs earn more off-lead freedom sooner than others, while others take a little longer and that’s okay. We always work at the dog’s pace.

You’ll notice that two of the dogs in this video are still wearing short leads. That’s because they’re in the transition phase to being fully off lead. We like to take things at each dog’s pace, giving them the freedom they’re ready for while keeping them safe. As their recall improves and they prove they’re reliable, those leads will gradually come off too. 🐾

🐾 Group Walk Availability – Tiverton Area 🐾

We currently have some spaces available on our group walks!

Our walks take place in a variety of locations to keep things fun, enriching, and never boring for your dogs. Each group is kept small (maximum of 6 dogs) to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

No recall? No problem! Dogs can be walked on a longline if needed.

💷 Pricing:
• £15 – first dog
• £13 – additional dog

📅 Availability:
• Tuesday: 9:00am (1 space), 11:00am (3 spaces)
• Wednesday: 11:00am (2 spaces)
• Thursday: 11:00am (3 spaces)
• Friday: 10:30am (2 spaces)

🐕 Solo Walks Available
We also have limited availability for solo walks in the afternoons (Tuesday–Friday). Perfect for dogs who may not suit group walks and would benefit from 1:1 attention.
