Following on from this, I have decided to add a Extra Small sizing to my list as I feel it’s only right for those tiny doggos which don’t take half as much time 🐾

Freshen up: £30
Full Groom; £40
Deshed. ; £35
Hand strip; £45

Price Increase from 1st September 2025

After putting it off for a while and wanting to get the well needed summer grooms out of the way to make sure your dogs are safe and comfortable a priority, I will be increasing grooms prices. I also have now installed a wall height graph in the groom room to show what size category your doggo fits into🐾

I’d just like to say a huge thank you to all my incredible customers that have pushed me to make this decision, it is very rare you’ll have people offering to pay more for a service and I feel so honoured that my work is appreciated enough to do so ❤️

(All grooms already booked in for September, will be exempt from the increase and you’ll pay original price as this is the price you had previously booked in for, any grooms after will be the new groom price)

Please help Lucy ❤️

One of my lovely customers has taken on the rescue of this gorgeous little girl. Here at Hounds about 40% of my customers are rescue dogs and now live the life that every dog deserves with their new loving families. If anything, we don’t deserve them.

We would really appreciate any donations to help Lucy get the treatment.

What a week💗 A feeling like no other, raising a significant more than planned. Over 166% of the target, with over £1600 in donations. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for being part of Hounds Dog Grooming Charity week, and all the support and additional donations.

I have had such an amazing week with your furry friends raising money for such an important charity. Thank you so much for making my week so special 💗

Extremely excited to announce that Breast Cancer Charity week has finally arrived at Hounds Dog Grooming💗

From Monday 7th October until Saturday 12th October I will be working extra hours to raise as much money as possible. All money made from your dogs groom will go straight to Breast Cancer Awareness. I have set up a fundraiser, which I will be sending to each day after my shift.

The extra support would be greatly appreciated, so please share around and donate to my fundraiser. Let’s make a difference and show those fighting breast cancer that they have our support and love💗

Dear Customers 💗

In regards to my upcoming charity week in October. I have decided to set up my fundraiser today in aim to raise as much money as possible for Breast Cancer Research.

A few very important people in my life are either currently on their heroic journey of fighting breast cancer, have had the all clear if not once but twice or have sadly lost their loved ones. I know this charity is very close to a lot of my customers hearts, so I feel honoured to hold this charity week in support of all of you. Together we can make a difference💗

I’m afraid the time has come due to unfortunately being let down too many times. I am now putting in place some policies regarding missed appointments, late to appointments, complete clips off (due to matting) and entering the groom room with fleas.

No shows;

I will now need 24hrs notice before your groom if you cannot make it. I have a waiting list of about 10+ and I tend to be completely booked up just under a couple of months in advance. Many people are waiting on an appointment so it’s not fair to them or me to not show up.

Matted dogs;

If your dog is matted to the point it needs to be completely clipped short it takes more time for the groom, not only is it destressing for the dog it also is very damaging to my equipment. I never wanted to charge for this as to me the welfare of the dogs comes before anything. But as regular as it occurs my equipment gets very damaged, very quickly.

Fleas;

If I am to discover fleas on your dog, this results in having to cancel any dog after your appointment that day. Due to having to thoroughly disinfect my entire groom room, re clean any towels and set off a flea bomb to make sure nothing gets passed on. This makes it very tricky due to being so booked up, then having to work hours overtime to fit these rescheduled appointments in.

This year here at Hounds I will be taking part in raising money for Breast Cancer Research. It is a charity very close to not only my heart but many of my customers.

A few very important people in my life are either currently on their heroic journey of fighting breast cancer, have had the all clear if not once but twice or sadly lost a loved one.

Due to October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, I have chosen to donate all the money I receive from your dogs grooms for the second week of October; from Monday 7th to Saturday 12th. I will also be setting up a go fund me page end of September for anyone who would like to take part in donating.
