Had a fantastic day out with my friends on the Friday and Sunday with two separate shows.
First was WKC where my boys were super double trouble with CC and RCC and I’m so proud of them! As we have worked so hard for it over the past few years “blood, sweat and tears”.
Huge thanks to Claire for your help handling Angel in challenge to his DCC. 💕

I’m deeply disappointed by the behavior of a select few individuals within the Brittany people who appear to resent others’ success. While they are quick to celebrate their own wins, their demeanor changes noticeably when the outcome isn’t in their favor. Unfortunately, this lack of sportsmanship and etiquette reflects poorly on the spirit of fair competition and the values we aim to uphold in the show ring. Grace in defeat should be just as important as grace in victory — sadly, that standard is not always met. 😢

Second was Mid-Somerset Open show and Loki stood alone as I left Angel at home to have a well deserved break, and to give Loki a day out without his side kick, he was a very well behaved boy for me. ❣️
Im so happy for Oka and Claire as we got shortlisted in the Gundog group well done girls! ❤️
Super happy for Hayley and Rhea on their last point for VW well done girls! 💗
And Lyn with Chai winning the Open class! 🎉

Leeds Championship Show 27.07.2025 🏆

Trying to catch up with my shows again.
Had lovely day at Leeds and driving wasn’t too bad for us to be honest.
The results were not to bad and the dogs behaved perfectly well. 💕
It’s shame Els and my boys rings clashed. Sorry I can’t remember the name of lady that helped to handle El in the ring so if you know her please message me. 😕 💕
But I was honored to handle lovely vizsla girl Ika in challenge to her CC, Best Veteran in Breed and shortlist in a lovely line up of Gundog Veterans group! 😍
We had a GSPC Championship Show held together with and I took Oka into ring she was such good girl for me. ❤️

I’m posting this lovey post on Claire’s behalf with her approval. ❤️
We was waiting for her certificates to come quite a long time and now we have them all.
Me and Claire met each other just around 10 months ago but she became one of my best friends not just for shows but in day to day life also. 💝
I never could imagine I would be given the privilege to handle two lovey girls GSP Oka and Vizsla El.
This post is about GSP Oka and her lovely journey to her JW title. I’m so thankful to Claire for allowing me to take Oka into the rings and just to help to run her as Oka likes to run with me so much. Sometimes she is shooting like a hawk. LOL 😂

I don’t know how to start my post I’m still on cloud nine but I need to do it. 😁
After a long journey with my beloved boy Angel - all the grooming hours, driving to shows across the country, sad tears and tears of happiness we finally DID IT! It wasn’t easy but we were patient and we DID IT! 🥲❤️

It was a very busy week at the shows 🥴
3 shows in 5 days? Why not… 🤣
Hot and humid but we did it. All dogs were looked after no one was left in sun, without water and they had there cooling coats, mats and coped with all the heat quite well. ❤️
Very happy about all results but some of them could have been better. 🤫
Oka and El pocketed £10 each for gaining BOB at Oakengates. 🙌🏼
I want to say a huge thanks to my girls Claire and Joy for taking us all to shows. 🤗

Bearded Paws story

I am Aukse and I have been involved with dogs from an early age. As a youngster I showed my mother’s Schnauzers and participated in Junior Handling Competitions being placed many times. I learnt my handling skills in Junior Handlers School in Lithuania and in 2014 I became Best Senior Handler of the year in Lithuania. Now handling for clients in the UK to CC and Group Level.

At the age of 18 I started to learn salon dog grooming. Have been worked in grooming salon like groomer helper/bather and of course with different famous breeders, from here my skills began. Hand stripping is one of my favourite grooming techniques and have lots of experience hand stripping Schnauzers, Terriers, Gundogs and other breeds. I would be happy to access your dog’s coat for this.

In 2019 I opened my own small home based business “Bearded Paws” and I keep my skills and techniques up to date by attending seminars, courses and grooming competitions.

At present I am married and are mom of beautiful daughter, also “mom” to Angel a Brittany, Gufie a Bernese Laufhund and Chiquita a Russian Toy Terrier.
