We said goodbye to a dear friend on Tuesday. Barbara was the owner of Scamp who I walked for over 6 years before she went over the rainbow bridge in 2022.
I learnt so much from Barbara who had owned dogs for over 80 years.
Back in 2010, she came with me on my first dog walk and I still remember to this day she told me to always walk the dog on the inside and never on the roadside and I still do this today.
As I saw her pretty much every day for 6 years, we became close friends and even after Scamp’s passing, we still kept in touch and I’d regularly go round to her house for a chat or we’d go out for lunch.
I would not be the dog walker or person I am today without Barbara and her passing has been a huge loss
