A massive session for Oliver Robinson over at the famous Crete Lakes in France, banking an incredible 23 carp and smashing his PB in the process! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ

Fish landed included:๐ŸŸ 51lb๐ŸŸ 54.8lb๐ŸŸ 56.2lb๐ŸŸ 62.8lb PB ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ’ฅ

Oliver said:

Robin Bain has been out at Cottington Lake Pepper again, a few words from Robin ๐Ÿ‘‡

โ€œI just got back from a 48 hour session at Cottington. It shouldโ€™ve been a quick overnighter but I had the opportunity to stay on so I jumped at the chance. In the process I had a lovely 32lb big plated mirror.

I used 6kg of the Whisky Twist in conjunction with the Whisky Twist Syrup, fishing a single 12mm topped with plastic corn. I do believe itโ€™s the only fish that has come out all week on Pepper so Iโ€™m well chuffed. I fished tight to an island margin.โ€

Robin Bain has been back out on Cottington Lakes โ€“ Pepper Lake, a venue where he always seems to nick a few and this trip was no different ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

A cracking 37lb 8oz mirror hit the bank after a quick overnighter session. Robin arrived 3pm Tuesday and packed up this morning at 6am, managing to get back in the same peg as last week.

Robin lost two fish in the early hours due to hook pulls, but soon sorted the issue. Unfortunately no more chances came after that, but the one that stayed on made it count ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

Tactics used:
๐ŸŽฏ Fishing tight to a deep margin
๐ŸŽฏ 2kg of crumbed boilies soaked in Whiskey Twist Syrup
๐ŸŽฏ Single 12mm hookbait tipped with plastic corn soaked in Whiskey Twist Syrup

That combo proved too much and was the downfall of this lovely 37lb 8oz mirror ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŸ

Team member George Eldridge has been out doing the business again at Berners Hall and keeping the catches coming ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

George ended the session with 5 bites, landing 4 carp and 1 catfish:

That fish marks Georgeโ€™s 9th forty from Berners Hall ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป What a tally that is!

All fish fell to Whisky pellet fished in small bags, loaded up with Whiskey Vapour and Flat Spot doing the damage again ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐ŸŽฏ

Another cracking result and Patch making an appearance is a proper reward ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Charlie Foster has been out on the mighty Chase Lakes in France and what a trip it turned into, banking a new PB along the way! ๐Ÿ’ฅ

3 fish landed:

๐ŸŸ Mirror โ€“ 42lb
๐ŸŸ Mirror โ€“ 52lb
๐ŸŸ Blu the Common โ€“ 60.8lb ๐Ÿ”ฅ PB fish!

Also lost a big mirror at the net, one that could have made the trip even more special!

The two mirrors fell to Whiskey Twist pop ups, soaked in WT Fluro V***r Yellow & Orange Whiskey Twist V***r, fished over a bed of WT crumb, boilies and pellet, all soaked in WT syrup and more WT Fluro V***r Yellow & Orange Whiskey Twist V***r.

Blu and the fish lost at the net came to double Whiskey Twist Pillowz, again soaked in WT Fluro V***r Yellow & Orange Whiskey Twist V***r, fished over a bed of WT crumb, boilies and pellet loaded with WT syrup and matching V***r liquids.

Massive congratulations Charlie on the new PB and getting one of the A Team fish, Blu, on the bank ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ

Few words from Fred:

โ€œWell another Crete Lakes trip comes to an end and what a session โ€” 48 fish landed! Big thanks again to all the bailiffs and new part owner Tony and his wife, they couldnโ€™t do enough for everyone. The good vibes are back at Crete Lakes and the fish are definitely playing ball. I sense big things coming back at Crete Lakes.

A few of my capturesโ€ฆ ignore the 2 x 50s I let slip out my hands ๐Ÿคฃ noddy ๐Ÿคฃ I had an excuse, my back was in bits and couldnโ€™t twist or bend to try and stop them, but still loved it.

Tally was 55-2, 54, 52, 51, 48, 46 and the list went on. Didnโ€™t get amongst the really big girls but it was non-stop action all week.

All caught on 12mm Whisky pop-ups with Whisky crumb and Vapour from Instant Baits.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‹

Managing two carp on the mighty Whisky Twist ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ”ฅ

A single 12mm tipped with fake corn soaked in the Whisky syrup doing the business. Robin introduced around 4kg of 12mm with a tin of corn sprinkled over the top, all fished tight to a deep margin.

The result was two carp including this stunning 43lb 6oz mirror known as Black Spot along with a high double.

No photos of the second fish unfortunately, but another proper result using the Instant Baits range ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Whisky Twist hook baits were the hook bait of choice combined with Vapour Twist, and the results were nothing short of ridiculous ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Another unreal trip with Lewis Gillingham, ticking off another country at Pelagicevo Lake, Bosnia ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฆ. We got off to a flying start, landing a few 50s and 40s early doors โ€” and it just didnโ€™t slow down from there.

The first 3 days and nights were non-stopโ€ฆ barely any sleep, just action! ๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ’ฅ

By the end of the week, weโ€™d landed 66 fish between us from a double peg ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

I had 31 fish, including:
โ€ข 8 x 50lb+ (Top fish: 59lb 12oz)
โ€ข 12 x 40lb+

The highlight of the trip had to be Lew landing his first 60โ€ฆ then backing it up with another at 62lb ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ

Instant Baits Catch Report ๐ŸŽฃ

Team member Stephen West (aka Fred) has been out at Cretelakes, where Instant Baits have proven themselves as an outstanding option on this venue over the years.

A few words from Fred:

โ€œHad a good session again on Cretelakes. After landing 15 fish in a couple of days, I thought I was in for a big hitโ€”but the fish had other ideas. Spawning was underway on Lake 5, which slowed things down a bit.

Still managed a few more before making a move to Lake 2 for the final night, where I landed a lovely 43lb 6oz.

Finished the trip on 21 fish, so canโ€™t complain at all! All fish fell to Instant Baits crushed whisky, paired with whisky vapour, with the whisky toppers doing most of the damage.โ€

Cracking result under tricky conditions ๐Ÿ‘Š
