Honestly it's criminal to be charging this amount to desperate owners and to not yield results for them even when they do as they have asked.

It's a repeating theme. Owners who have paid this amount to be told absolute nonsense and the problem still to exist months even years later.

Sure, charge a good amount. This is a results based industry....

But nobody is worth that amount for a single session if they can't deliver the results you're asking for.

I've worked with plenty of obedient dogs who still have behaviour issues.

Obedience is covering up the issue in the form of management. But when the dog isn't given constant direction they act up.

True behaviour modification is when the dog can make the correct decision around their triggers......

Too many people are trading their dogs 'unfixable' behaviour for attention and worse still a revenue stream.

People are getting paid, for their dog staying in a fixed stressed state....

Get the fundamentals ticking first before launching into the ecollar.

We've taken the tools away from clients first that have come to us, and redone the basics first.

Clients are not able to explain to us their marker system. Yet have an ecollar on their dog. Why?

We need to teach people how to train dogs without the tools and with.

But start without them, then introduce if needed.

After witnessing utter lies in this industry for the past year it boils my absolute p**s.

People have been told they aren't punishing their dogs, when in fact they are. It's just a simple time out. What, you mean social deprivation.....

They use social deprivation in prisons as a form of punishment.

It all sounds really lovely. But when you know what happens behind the scenes you as owners are being lied to.

One thing you'll have from and I and many other great trainers is honesty.....

Your dog only does what works for them. They don't wake up and think. Oh how can I please my human today.

They are self serving beings.

Yeah, sure they love doing things with us. But they love doing what is fulfilling to them.

Your dog needs come WAY before yours.

Unfortunately we have been sold the idea that dogs must fit neatly into our lives and conform and not inconvenience us.

Well unfortunately that's not the case.

You've taken on a dog. It's up to you to commit a lot of time and effort into the dogs life to give it what they need.

Dog needs first. Sofa cuddles last.

Most of my clients come from one of two extremes.

Either a tonne of freedom, any time they are asked to do something it is mainly bribery.

Or dogs are highly managed, and obedience is all they know.

Now, if you carefully marry obedience with freedom and fun. That's where the magic happens.
