simple gesture from Tom Hardy ended up bringing national attention to a dog rescue organization in Mexico. 🐶❤️
According to reports shared by Colombian newspaper El Espectador, Hardy currently follows only one account connected to animal rescue: Adopta.Mx, a nonprofit focused on rescuing and caring for abandoned dogs.
The story began during Hardy’s visit to a Mexican shelter while promoting Venom: The Last Dance.
During the visit, he reportedly fell in love with a small rescue dog named Paco. 🐾
Although he could not take Paco home himself, Hardy decided to support the shelter in another way — by following and helping promote the organization online.
Fans quickly noticed the gesture, and the attention reportedly helped shine a much larger spotlight on the rescue group and its mission.
Animal lovers also pointed out that this is not the first time Hardy has supported rescue animals. Over the years, he has openly advocated for animal welfare and previously served as an ambassador for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in the UK.
Sometimes even one small action from a public figure can help thousands of people discover organizations working every day to save abandoned animals.
And for shelters struggling to find homes and support, that visibility can truly change lives. ❤️🐕
