A bit of a controversial species for fish shops to sell is the Leopard Sailfin Plec due to it's potential size of 50cm! 😳

Now these guys are a fantastic algae eater and despite their large size they are peaceful towards other fishes ❤️

We always ensure potential owners know just how large they can grow and show smaller species of suckermouth catfish that are better suited long term to their aquarium however should you have a fish that outgrows your aquarium we have a total of 9 600 litre tanks that we can rehome them into ✅️

This is our current resident rehome and by far one of the biggest specimens I've seen in my 20+ years of fishkeeping! ♥️
He will serve great purpose in giving potential keepers a real idea of just how large these beauties can get ✌️

Zebra ottocinclus is a beautiful miniature Loricariid that is an ideal species for a quiet softwater planted aquarium. In the wild it is found amongst dense vegetation at the margins of clearwater creeks 🪴

This is a peaceful fish that is best kept ingood sized groups (6+) in a mature aquarium with plenty of shady hiding spots amongst plants, driftwood, and slate caves. Tankmates should be of similar size and temperament e.g. some of the smaller tetra and Corydoras species, or dwarf cichlids (Apistogramma, Mikrogeophagus etc.). Avoid tankmates that are boisterous at feeding times, as these shy little catfish will not compete well ✅️
