Great News, we have learned that the first 2 dogs to qualify for this year’s Spaniel Championship were both sired by Buccleuch Pepper, “Jet” and they are both fed on Chapel Farm.

It is possible that one of the furthest travelled Galloway Country Fair visitors was Welsh based stockist Monty Williams and he managed back home to Pwellheli in time to take care of his latest delivery which includes the new Lamb. Chapel Farm were pleased to sponsor the GCF Scurry and Tests organised by Galloway Gundogs and we are delighted to learn that Chapel Farm regular Lewis McNeil was announced as winner of the Open Retriever Test. Many Congratulations Lewis and good luck for the next.

The first Galloway Country Fair since 2019 and it was great to be back. As has often been the case in previous years the forecast was not good for Saturday, but it turned out much better than expected and attendance was good as people were obviously pleased to be able to be out and about. Sunday was excellent with big crowds of happy smiling faces. Thanks to all who came and said hello, new faces and regulars including Chapel Farm stockists Monty Williams, Jim Fleming and Morton Muirhead.

Don’t forget to enter the dog show being held on Sunday p.m. – it is FREE to enter, with classes for gundogs and other breeds. Entry forms can be found within the Chapel Farm Marquee with entries accepted until noon.
If you are wondering how to keep your youngsters occupied, there is a whole host entertainment including FREE climbing wall, laser quest, assault course, Denver’s den, ball pool and Segways. With a small charge for the big slide, bungee trampolines and water walkers.
