Milo. Came in pulling like a steam train. Dragging to other dogs, barking at some people. We worked a loose lead and controlled heal. As you can see he completely understood the assignment and the owner has been able to start practicing off lead! This is after only a couple of sessions and what is possible with practice and perseverance!
Off lead dogs!
I’m not of the opinion that dogs should be robots and stuck to my side looking up at me. I personally like my dogs (and clients dogs) to wander close to me and have a sniff. However it is important that when we release our dogs in an open space (especially a public space) that we take responsibility for them. Although this cannot be achieved without taking calculated risks when training recall this is what we should be working towards. So if a runner, child, horse or anything else appears from nowhere we can limit the risks for everyone involved.
I train in real world scenarios. For a natural mutually beneficial relationship with your dog that works in the real world. I don’t work in a hall or secure location. I don’t talk you through it over the phone or in your home. I come with you into the real world and show you how to communicate with your dog. In this video I give no verbal direction I just start walking backwards, these dogs are taught to keep an eye on me as much as I am keeping an eye on them. This makes life much safer and is a much healthier relationship, that works both ways. The dogs WANT to be with me. I break this right down and do each step with you until you too can achieve this! Worth noting that only one of these dogs is my own the other 2 from separate households and were both VERY naughty before coming to me

Jimmy car desensitisation
This may not seem much, however Jimmy was terrified of going into a vehicle. First day working on car desensitisation. With a bit of emotional support and motivation from from blue! Such a good boy!
Meet jimmy, this is session One outside! And believe it or not jimmy was running out of people who could walk him previous to this moment. Some dogs make my job easy! Jimmy is one of them. Very sad I don’t have a before video to prove the difference 😅🤦🏻♀️
