At Picton Dog Club, we believe dog sport should be accessible, inclusive, and, most importantly, fun. Whether you're completely new or looking to develop your skills, we offer a range of activities designed to build connection, confidence, and teamwork between you and your dog.

For just £35 per month, you'll receive:

✨ 4 classes per month – choose from a range of sessions that suit you
✨ 20% discount on one-to-one training sessions

Our pay-as-you-go sessions allow you to book classes individually, making it easy to try different activities and train when it suits you.

🍻🐾 SOCIAL NIGHT – WITH A TWIST! 🐾🍻

We’re hosting a relaxed Dog Club social evening at The Station Pub — and you’re invited!

This will be a lovely chance to get together and have a natter.

✨ We’ll also be playing a fun shaping game called PORTL! ✨

So… what is PORTL?

PORTL stands for Portable Operant Research and Teaching Lab (don’t worry — it sounds far more serious than it is! 😆)

It’s a hands-on game using small objects where you work with a partner to “train” behaviours using shaping techniques — just like we do with our dogs!

🚫 NO DOGS required… but lots of the same training skills:
🐾 Observation
🐾 Timing
🐾 Clear communication
🐾 Problem solving
🐾 Reinforcement strategies

It’s amazing how much you learn about training mechanics while also having loads of fun. Expect plenty of laughs, lightbulb moments, and probably a few “OH… that’s what my dog feels like!” moments too 😂
