The 🏆 is fast approaching, and as a small team we are already looking to next year’s championship adventure. And where is next year’s Champs being held? Why, Anglesey of course! 😍⛰️☀️🌊
For 2026, we’re planning to embark on the 7 hour journey to compete across multiple formats throughout Champs week. This will be a total adventure, and the first time Yeager has ever been to the beautiful venue. However, it definitely isn’t going to be cheap! Travelling to the opposite side of the country, camping, racing, partying (🤪), it all comes with a cost, and if our entry for the 2025 Champs is anything to go by we know we need to be prepared 🫣
So, in order to cover the huge costs of this, we’re building a “Championship Pot” to stash away, and thanks to the incredible and unwavering support of our training venue we are pleased to announce
📣 Yeager Flyball’s FLYBALL SATURDAYS!! 📣
From Saturday 1st November 2025, we will be running a 6 week block of our Flyball courses ALL DAY on a Saturday, 8:30am - 5:30pm. We have had so many enquiries about when our next FUNDAMENTALS courses are going to be - well, here they are! 🤩

FLYBALL FUNDAMENTALS is a wholely positive 6 week Flyball beginners course that doesn’t just teach jumps, turns and fetch - it first and foremost focuses on fundamental skills that help to build a better, stronger bond with your dog and deepen your understanding of the way they work. Perhaps your dog doesn’t listen to you, you lack focus on a walk, you wish to strengthen your recall, or maybe you just want your dog to like you better - all this and more while learning about an incredible team sport? FUNDAMENTALS is the course for you ❤️
Over 6 weeks we put the dogs through their paces, using a plethora of different training techniques to teach focus, engagement, behavioural shaping and PLAY in a new environment and eventually against distraction. Building confidence week on week, we teach the basic elements of Flyball - the RUN, the TURN and the BALL - through active play, shape work, patterning, positive association, layering and building value for the tasks at hand, all the while giving you, the handler, the fundamental skills to train them 💪🏻
With attention to body language, reward system, obsessive behaviours, body conditioning and turn mechanics, this course is a whole lot of learning in a fun, relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and the team aspect truly makes the course worthwhile. Connect with likeminded dog lovers, build confidence in yourself and your ability, strengthen your bond, and most importantly have FUN!

The course is suitable for any breed, any experience and any age up to 8 years - we remove obstacles for puppies under 1 ☺️
💰COST💰
We have had to bump the cost up ever so slightly, a) to support our amazing venue and b) to allow for maximum donations to our fund.
The full course will now be £90.00 - £15.00 for two hours of training each week. A £25.00 deposit will secure your place, with the rest to be paid either monthly or in a lump sum by the final week of October - we want this to be as affordable as we can make it!
