📖🐾Pooch’s Yard Diaries: Maverick’s entry

Dear Diary,

I was so beyond happy to come into daycare you could hear me from a mile away! As soon as I got in I picked up the first toy I could find and off I was zooming around🏎️

After that I started off by dipping into the pool for a cool off, followed by my second favourite activity bubbles🫧 Personally, I think there should have been a lot more bubbles but the wind said otherwise.

At one point I was invited to play a game of tug of war! My inner rabbit hope came out and it was quickly decided that I was the champion🏆

Anyways, after I got over my heartbreak of losing out on precious bubble time I decided to finally give my friends some attention, they loved it (obviously).

I finished the day off by having a quick two minute power nap (it was extremely necessary) and it worked wonders as I managed to squeeze in one more lap in the pool before home time.

🧡IT’S RUSTY’S FIRST DAY! 🧡

Everybody please welcome today’s newbie Rusty!
Rusty is a 1 year old Sproker spaniel, who has joined us today to make some new friends and burn off some energy… and he most certainly did that!

Rusty came straight in super excited and happy to meet everyone and before we knew it he was running around playing with his new bestie and fellow spaniel, Obi! 🤩

Rusty’s favourite activity today was using his nose on the scent wall to find the goodies, he also loved a snuggle on the sofa after he had worn himself out!💤

We have loved meeting you today Rusty and we have loved watching you have the best time! 🥰

🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAILEY!🎉

Bailey has joined us today to celebrate his 5th birthday! This gorgeous boy has been coming to us since July 2024 and we are honoured to celebrate his birthday with him! 🎈

Bailey is such a happy boy, full of energy and always ready for fun! He always comes in with a wagging tail at full speed eager to get in to see his friends! 🥰

We have celebrated in true Bailey style today, with zoomies on arrival, playing with his friends Sugar and Biscuit and having a snuggle on the sofa ❤️

We are feeling very lucky because Bailey and his mum have made cookies to share as a birthday treat with everyone and brownies for the team! 🤩 (thank you again!)

We wish you the happiest of birthdays Bailey, here’s to many more! ✨

Today we are saying goodbye to our beloved Indie and Cora 🥹❤️

For the past 3 years, they have been part of the Poochs Yard family, and for 3 years they have been loved by us all.

We have had the pleasure of watching them both grow and blossom into the lovely, caring dogs they are today. They have always been a joy to welcome through our doors.

We will miss Indie’s quirky upside-down smile that greeted us every day, and we will miss Cora’s caring cuddles that the team would always compete to receive first.

Thank you for all the wonderful memories, laughter, and love you have brought to us over the years.

We wish you both the very best in your new home and on your new adventure. You will always have a special place in our hearts, and we hope to see you again someday. ❤️🐾
