With the upcoming warmer weather and summer approaching, this is a gentle reminder of my summer protocol to keep your pets safe, happy and comfortable.

🌅 Earlier walk times where possible.
Walks will be scheduled earlier in the day to avoid the peak heat and keep dogs cool during their walks.

😎 I will ensure your dog has constant access to shaded areas on our walks when temperatures are higher than normal.

🐾 Shorter walks when needed on particularly hot days.
Walk durations may be reduced to prevent overheating and ensure your dog remains comfortable and safe.

💦 Fresh water will always be provided on walks.

🏡 Home Visits as an alternative when it’s too hot for safe outdoor activity.
I’ll switch to indoor home visits instead. These include toilet breaks in the garden, enrichment, cuddles, and refreshed water bowls.

⚠️ Dogs don’t sweat like humans, they cool themselves by panting and through their paws, making them more vulnerable in high temperatures.

Your dog's wellbeing is always my top priority. Thank you for your continued understanding and support if I have to adjust to keep them safe during the warmer months.

I spent the day helping out at Cheshire Guinea Pig Rescue ❤️ Cleaning out, doing welfare checks & of course having lots of cuddles 🥰

My last walk of the week was with cheeky Poppy 🥰
She actually bowled me over today 🤣 I was in a squat position taking photo's & she didn't stop! 🤣
