Just a notice to all clients that under the government guidelines I am still open for business as usual with social distancing and bio-security measures implemented on drop off and collection. Please wear masks even though we are outside when handing over your pet for grooming and rest assured I am stringent with hand cleansing before bringing them back to your car. Thankyou all for your continued business. Stay safe and healthy!

Is your dog nervous of being groomed? Many dogs find the grooming experience a little daunting and there are various methods I use to help to overcome this. I encourage the owner to stay with their dog if we both feel it will help to make the dog more confident. I also use treats throughout the session to reward and make it more pleasurable for the dog. But the most helpful thing I have found is to give really nervous dogs a Reiki treatment. I am a level 2 Reiki practioner and use Reiki on my dogs and horses. A Reiki treatment really relaxed the animals and can turn a worrying experience into a pleasant one. If you have a nervous dog who you think might benefit from this then please get in touch

While we are in this dreadful situation I would like to let all my clients know that when you bring your dogs to be groomed I can take the dogs from the car when you drop them off and bring them back to the car when they have been groomed so that you don’t have to come into the grooming salon if you prefer not to. Let’s hope things improve soon!
