K9 Connection Agility and Hoopers Dog Agility and Hoopers

Both myself and my husband compete in Agility but Agility training isn’t just for people that wish to compete it also has many benefits for all dogs. Keeping your dog fit is important to their health, and agility training is a great way to do this whilst improving your dog’s behaviour and overall wellbeing.

This amazing Little girl won the Agility Club Starters Challenge today at Norfolk to say I am proud is an understatement, she was just amazing. This was the first KC show she had been entered for any Agility runs so could not have asked any more from her.

For all those competing at Ashfields, the grass is long lush and slippery, drying out now but bring grippy footwear just incase!!

For those who have entered at Valley Farm Agility Show this is the turn off from the A12, about half mile down turning to show on the left. Rings and equipment done, competitors and trade stands steadily growing. Good luck to those competing and above all enjoy it! We are near the ShowTent, pop over for a coffee and biscuits.

For those of you who are ready to compete I thoroughly recommend that you enter and participate in these events. There is usually an Agility, Jumping and Helter Skelter course. It is an independent show with the ability to run a configuration of three runs on the day with toys and treats being able to take into the ring. The judges are all very understanding that you may be new to the sport and are very encouraging with excellent ongoing advice.

Please see attached dates for Valley Farm winter clear round shows running order heights to be confirmed.

30th October
13th November
18th December
15th January
5th February
2nd April

The event is at Wickham Market, Cafe and toilets on site.

Gruffy has had a fantastic week at his first KCIAF, working his little socks off! 9 clears in 10 runs, I pulled the run he did not go Clear in as a gust blew someone's hat off and it banged into the side of the tunnel (I heard it) so hè wasn't going in there and at 32°C we were not up for a re-run! So proud of the scruffy Gruffy!
