I am a Professional Dog Grooming Home Salon based in Wellington. I only groom 3 dogs a day and divide my day with 3 x 3 hour slots to give your dog my full attention, patience and kindness. Giving them the time and care to fully enjoy being pampered and groomed. I have groomed St.Bernards and Newfoundlands to Tea cup yorkies. All sizes and breeds welcome!. l also offer a pick and drop off service if you need it. Thanks for reading.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce, with effect from 1st April I am having to cease trading.
Because of the current cost of living crisis, I am moving on to pastures new.
Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of your fur babies lives for the past nearly 9 years, I will miss all the doggy cuddles.

Unfortunate that it has come to this. Any new customer bookings will now have to pay a holding deposit of half the total of their groom to secure an appointment. I have been let down twice by the same person who after not showing up to her first appointment has again not showed up to her second! Two appointment slots booked each time and not shown up to! Lesson learned it won't happen a third time. I am a Sole trader with just 3 appointments a day available in my diary for my regulars and any new customers. Missed appointments and no shows seriously affects my monthly income as lm not able to fit anyone in at such short notice to fill those slots. I understand that things happen and appointments sometimes cannot be attended due to personal circumstances but not showing up is just very unfair! And very detrimental to my very small business. 😔 and unfortunately can't go on like this as it could cause shutting down completely.

Hello all, hope that you are keeping safe and well. Today has finally come when l can open up the doors again to normal grooming as during this last lockdown period l was only allowed to undertake welfare grooms under strict instructions of which was barely creating any income. Apologies to all my regular customers who were unable to have their fur babies groomed, my hands were tied.
This past year has taken a huge toll on my business as a Sole trader and at one point l thought Bubbles n Paws would not open up again. Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this period.
As l have now entered into a new financial year l am grateful that l can reopen but it's not without its sacrifices. I have had to make some tough decisions to be able to carry on and try to recuperate from the aftermath of three lockdown closures. It's with a heavy heart that l have to now up my prices to be able to get back on my feet. I have always tried to be fair and affordable keeping my prices at a level over the past few years, as its always been my love of grooming and looking after your fur babies that has always been at the forefront of my business.
The price increase will take effect from today onwards. I hope you can understand and remain with me as we battle through the rest of this year safely. If you have any questions or reservations please message me personally.

Hello my lovely customers, hope you are all safe and well. Finally we have some an arguable rules and restrictions issued from the government which clarifies when l can legally provide a Grooming service during lockdown.
Obviously these rules are not inclusive and all the other relevant restrictions must be adhered to, essential travel, social distancing etc. But it does allow me to undertake grooms that are not for astestic purposes but for the immediate welfare of the dog.
Please have a look at the guidance and if you believe your pooch falls into the criteria get in touch.
The ultimate decision on whether the groom is allowed will be mine undertow guidance rules, so please only get in touch if your dogs welfare is genuinely in question.
