All but a handful now have appointments in diary. Those still to contact have pencilled in appointments so no stress . Now I know why I’m a dog groomer not an office worker 😵‍💫🍷

Thank You to those who have had their grooming appointments moved to earlier in the day or postponed during this heatwave. Tomorrow I will be going through the diary and making calls to get them rebooked during imminent cooler days .
I have a long list to get through so please be patient . We have generated some extra hours on days off so will easily get everyone in as soon as possible.
Tomorrow is going to be scorchio ( like you need telling 🤦‍♀️)
Please look after yourself and your pups .
Remember to keep them indoors between 8am and 8pm if possible as those pavements are like hot stoves , and keep them entertained with enrichments , frozen treats etc instead.
Ours are going stir crazy to go out but that’s tough . The outdoor cat has left home for a cool refuge under the trees and I’m fighting hard to keep my old ducks cool.
Don’t forget the wildlife with shallow dishes of water. Out here they are struggling and the bird song is too silent .
The work phone line is currently unmanned so messages won’t be picked up now . 13 year old Liz enjoying some air con . 💖

Please be aware that with the current high temperatures forecast we will be moving dogs around to ensure none are at risk of overheating.
The same as usual rules apply. If your dog arrives overheated they will be sent away .
Please keep your phones to hand as we will be contacting you on a daily basis if your time slot affected.
If you feel your dog won’t cope with grooming don’t worry just let us know. We would rather rearrange for when it cools down. X

Please be aware that we have at least a 72 hour quarantine policy on dogs entering salon post kc vaccine.This vaccine is live and can be passed to other dogs. Thank you 💉

This next few day are going to be hot hot hot ! Usual rules apply.
No big meals or big walks before grooming appointments please . If your dog arrives hot and panting heavily we will refuse to groom them . We can keep them cool but we can’t cool an already overheated dog down. If you have an elderly or unwell dog we are happy to rearrange with notice . Enjoy the heatwave safely ☀️☀️

As of tomorrow 23rd May the A442 Queensway between Hoo farm island and harvester will be closed. Please allow extra time for the diversion which is going to be nothing less than busy . Much needed but wish these road works would be over with .🚧🚙🚧
