A huge thank you to the person who donated this very lovely bush - it fits perfectly in one of our new barrel planters - fingers crossed the roots take and the buds start to open
It’s going to be so beautiful !

We also have three very large hedge bushes that will be planted over the next few days 🤩

The Water butts have been filled up today and the fields checked ✅

Whilst playing at the fields PLEASE ensure children are kept on lead and under control at all times for the safety of the dogs !

Yesterday after 3pm someone decided to be creative with the resources inthe playground patch
And whilst the children’s playworker and Mary poppins in me thinks this is amazing 🤩 the field owner in me says this is an accident waiting to happen
If a dog or a small child or an elderly person were to unfortunately get hit by a falling tower of tyres the injury’s could be quite serious !!!

It also took me 20 Minutes to find the missing bin lid from the middle of the field and pick up the shredded bag of dog 💩 bags that had obviously been scattered by nighttime animal visitors to the field !!

Please have fun when visiting the fields but consider how your actions and those of your children ( I assume children have done this) may impact on the next user

ON A POSITIVE NOTE 📝

WE HAVE BEEN DONATE FOUR MORE CHAIRS SO HAVE PUT SOME IN TO SENSORY SAUNTER - these can be taken up the fields to make good use of the space x

A polite reminder - smoking in the fields is strictly prohibited 🚫 and I’m so pleased that to date I’ve not once had to pick up a cigarette end ! - however yesterday I did pick up this bottle Of v**e juice - the danger of which to a dog can be catastrophic

PLEASE ENSURE V**E JUICES ARE NOT TAKEN INTO THE FIELDS - if a dog had picked this up it could have led to a very serious situation

🤩🕖🤩🕖 NOT LONG TO GO. 🕘🤩🕘🤩

We’re all waiting patiently - with the changing of the clocks - Sunday 30th March - springing forward we will be able to resume our summer openings hours 7am 🕖 till 9pm 🕘

The booking app will be changed tomorrow to allow for the additional time slots

LOOK WHATS COMING !!!

A few weeks ago I saw this excellent idea for a sensory seek and find wall on another dog field page - and was really excited by it

I searched second hand sales pages and lucky for us found someone selling their climbing wall in Newport
So we have been looking out for appropriate pallets and decking boards to get this project underway

We now have everything We need and will putting it all Together very soon

The playtime Patch will have a sensory wall
Whilst in the sensory saunter we will be using the tree Trunks to set up the same experience

We can’t wait to see the dogs using their noses to find the hidden treats we will put our ready for them

MISSING - Presummed lost -

It occurred to me as I was getting the sand out of the shed ready to take to the field that yesterday I didn’t see our lovely blue apple shell sand pit

Having checked photos - It would appear that our blue apple shell Sand pit has gone missing from behind the crate at the field

I’m gutted as I have had the sand ready for when the weather brightens up and we can create another play experience for the dogs

If anyone knows the whereabouts of our sandpit would they please let me know - it may have blown over the hedge or fence or to the other side of the field where we didn’t go yesterday

I’m hoping that when i visit the field later that someone will have found it and it will be back in place

Otherwise I will be on the hunt for another one !! X
