🔥🐶 HOT WEATHER WARNING FOR PET OWNERS 🐾☀️
With temperatures forecasted to rise this week, it's important to know how hot is too hot for our doggo friends. Dogs can overheat very quickly — and it's not just about air temperature. Pavement, humidity, and lack of shade can all put your pet at risk.
📈 Here’s what you need to know:
🔴 28–31°C+
🚫 Life-threatening for most dogs. Avoid all walks. Keep them indoors, cool, and hydrated.
🔴 24–27°C
⚠️ High risk. Too hot for most breeds. Walks should be VERY short or early morning/late evening only.
🌤️ 20–24°C
Moderate risk. Avoid strenuous activity and monitor for signs of overheating.
✅ 12–19°C
Perfect walking weather! Over 16 degrees keep an eye on your pup and at risk dogs.
