Today the team headed off to the SWSPG autumn show unfortunately I had to work.
Mabel took Kinknell Elliot aka Billy into the young handlers and won, so proud of her as only handled him this morning in the dark to load him!!
Stepley cara met her new jockey this morning and had a go at the first ridden class!
Stepley Duchess (our orphan foal) and Berogar Hazel did well in there classes
Well done to everyone that went today x

Fantastic day at the SWSPG fun day. We took Stepley Cara, Stepley Duchess and Carmaco Jorge.
We had a fun time in the show classes with Mabel getting to grips with Duchess instead of Jen.
George and Jorge won the jumping and Mabel and Jorge won the agility.
Was lovely to watch Mabel and Emma in the pairs class doing so well together having never done something like this before.
Thank you to everyone that put today on, we thoroughly enjoyed it x

A lovely if somewhat busy day at Mid Somerset Show today with Stepley Cara, Carmaco Pocheen, Stepley Charlton and Witcombe Questionnaire.
They all did their best in strong classes, only managed to get pics of Questionnaire and Charlton (aka Dave)
Well done to everyone that went x

Today the team headed off to Chagford Show.
Stepley Una was 7th, Beroga Hazel was 8th, Stepley Taka was 3rd with her foal Stepley Takara taking Best Foal but the star of the Show was Chilcombe Little Jack Horner taking 2nd in the stallions and then Reserve Miniature Champion. Not bad for a lad who's out with his wife's and pops to the odd pony party xx

A lovely chilled out day at Wick St Lawrence Show.
Beth took over the reins in the ridden with Mabel and Jen as I had a youngster getting 2nd in the m&m small breeds and 2nd in the veterans. I took jen in the inhand veterans getting 4th and mabel took her in the young handlers getting 6th.
We took Isle on mona Heidi getting a 2nd in the mature handler and 4th in the shetlands.
The star of the Show was Stepley Cascade of colour first time our as a 3yr old getting 2nd in the shetlands, 4th in the open 1,2,3yr old ponies, 4th in the m&m small breeds and 5th in the open coloured. She never put a foot wrong. Didn't manage many pics so sharing some team fun pics xx

After one mare keeping us guessing today she was scanned not in foal so we have officially finished for 2024.

A long but lovely day at Breamore show today. Didn't manage to get any photos of the ponies but after 9yrs out of the ring Mum showed Stepley Taka today in the standard mare and gelding class getting 7th out of 12. Stepley Jenny Wren and Stepley Cara were unplaced but it was a fantastic class of ponies.
Then jenny went doing the veterans getting 3rd in hand and 4th ridden then 4th in the young handlers with Mabel. Cara was 2nd in the native coloureds 4yrs and over.
Witcombe Questionnaire was 1st in the miniature shetland yearling and 3rd in the miniature horse solid coloured.
Stepley Vereda was 5th in the mini shetland 2&3yr old, 4th in the native coloured youngstock and 1st in the mini horse broken coloureds then taking Reserve Champion miniature horse.
Well done to all that went today x

Lovely day at Tiverton Hunt Pony Club Show with just Mabel and Stepley Jenny Wren
We had a go at clear round jumping, mabel fell after the first on the first attempt and then after the third fence on the second attempt so we gave that up.
We then did some ridden showing and had 3rd in the Childs best friend and 1st in the best rider under 10yrs
After lunch we had a go at gymkhana, this is where jen wren comes alive, 4th in the bending, 2nd in the mug race then just moments from winning the sock race jen got over excited and mabel came off again but we scooped her up crossed the line finishing 5th.
Decided jen was getting too excited so went back showing getting 2nd in the m&ms and 6th in the veterans (jen was a baby in that at 20yrs young)
A lovely day enjoying a pony of a lifetime xx

On Friday we headed off to the Royal Cornwall Show, Stepley Tobias had 1st in the standard stallions and Reserve Champion stallion. Stepley Charlton (aka Dave) had 2nd in the standard yearlings and Berogar Hazel had 5th in the miniature 2yr old. Well done to everyone that went x
