For many who have been worried, like we were, about Calypso. Her baby was due on the 1st June…..
It was eventually born this afternoon: at 5.8kg, he is a small boy even though he took 357 days gestation.
A lovely surprise today as we thought it may have been a still birth.

A very sad day yesterday; Platy, one of our 20 year old girls, passed away. She had been slowly deteriorating over the last few weeks. A strange thing took place as the lady was driving out with Platy, off to cremation. Platy had three babies, Phoebe, Penny and Jed. As the trailer left the farm, all the alpacas were sitting down except her three babies. The three of them watched the trailer drive off down the lane before rejoining their group. I wonder what they were thinking?🦙
