Forewarning

If it’s too hot , I will ask to postpone your appointment. This is due to the heatwave. I will do early mornings to accommodate as many bookings as I can as I know people have waited a while. Their welfare is the most important thing and I understand that we think it’s better to have a shorter coat , but dogs are normally in a heightened level of stress coming to the groomers, to them be handled and dried for approx 45 mins , even with cold settings, it gets warm. And then stand there to be clipped or whatever needs doing.
I know it’s disappointing , but it’s better for them to go and lay somewhere cool and wait for a more suitable day

I know you’ll understand , because these are our treasured babies and you’ll want what’s best too

I have just had a text message sent to meBe careful , there are some evil people out there !

To anyone who has a dog please be aware that someone has put poison in kibble, down at well woods, sparrows den, beckenham place park, kelsey park, lloyd park and Harvington. Do not walk near pavements. Police are at well woods now and the vets are also on it as well. One dog has sadly died xx

Well that’s me finished for Christmas, I’m back on the 27th!

2025 has been a challenging year for not just me, but many of my clients . So many have gone over the 🌈 and it breaks my heart as I’ve got to know both clients and pooches, so that I don’t even like calling them clients !

I’ve been blown away by the support, understanding and love that I’ve been shown, having lost mum earlier in the year . My mind has been very pre occupied and I may have forgotten to write the odd appointment in the diary, but everyone has understood.

So I just want to thank and wish each and everyone one of you a wonderful Christmas and I hope with all my heart 2026 is a much kinder year all round.

19 years ago today, I had my first Client. His name was Oscar, a Golden retriever. Took me 3 hours !! !( now they take 1.5hrs)

I’ve met some amazing people and beautiful dogs over the years.

And so I’m so glad I took the plunge to move from the move world of accountancy to looking after little or not so little doggies

This year has been tough, with losing so many of my treasured clients due to their age. So many have been with me since they were puppies.

Thank you to everyone that has been a part of our journey and Ethel & Flo are looking forward to the years ahead
