Well that’s me finished for Christmas, I’m back on the 27th!

2025 has been a challenging year for not just me, but many of my clients . So many have gone over the 🌈 and it breaks my heart as I’ve got to know both clients and pooches, so that I don’t even like calling them clients !

I’ve been blown away by the support, understanding and love that I’ve been shown, having lost mum earlier in the year . My mind has been very pre occupied and I may have forgotten to write the odd appointment in the diary, but everyone has understood.

So I just want to thank and wish each and everyone one of you a wonderful Christmas and I hope with all my heart 2026 is a much kinder year all round.

19 years ago today, I had my first Client. His name was Oscar, a Golden retriever. Took me 3 hours !! !( now they take 1.5hrs)

I’ve met some amazing people and beautiful dogs over the years.

And so I’m so glad I took the plunge to move from the move world of accountancy to looking after little or not so little doggies

This year has been tough, with losing so many of my treasured clients due to their age. So many have been with me since they were puppies.

Thank you to everyone that has been a part of our journey and Ethel & Flo are looking forward to the years ahead

When you get a card come in the post and it breaks your heart. It’s not just a dogs cut us groomers do, we get attached ! 18 years I’ve groomed Tilly and got to know her owner Sarah and her Children were 4 And now grown up working , little Tilly is still here, but is unable to cope with the process . Feeling really sad and now ugly crying !!

Keeping you in the know!

Jewells Hill Project We can confirm that the closure of Jewels Hill will be reintroduced from Monday, 29th September at 9:00 AM, with completion expected by mid-December.

There are two phases to o the project, one to widen the carriageway with the other to improve the drainage.

Please find attached the diversion details, which were previously circulated.

We have asked for bi-weekly updates so we can keep you apprised of the progress made.

Well that’s me signing off to take some much needed time out. This years been extremely challenging, exhausting but exciting with what’s to come. So the diary is busy until November, so please don’t forget to pre book . Any requests for bookings now will be dealt with on 30th October .
