🐾 Important Walk Update 🐾
Due to the forecast temperatures, we have made the decision to cancel all walks tomorrow (Thursday 25th). This includes all early morning walks.

Unfortunately, it is simply too hot for the dogs. Tomorrow, temperatures are expected to reach 23°C by 8:30am and 24°C by 9:00am, making it unsafe for us to take the dogs out, even in shaded areas.

Instead, we will be offering check-in visits. We believe this is the safest option to ensure all dogs remain comfortable, happy, and well cared for during the hot weather.

We have already contacted all group walk and afternoon solo walk clients. If you have not received a message from us, or if you would like to arrange a check-in visit, please get in touch.

Instead, we will be offering check-in visits. We believe this is the safest option to ensure all dogs remain comfortable and cared for during the hot weather.

We should have already messaged all group walk and afternoon solo walk clients. If you haven't heard from us, or if you would like to arrange a check-in visit, please let us know.

It’s looking like it’s going to be a scorching hot today and currently the week ahead too, so it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with what temperatures are safe for your dog☀️🐶

Every year our vets treat hundreds of heat stroke cases and, heartbreakingly, some end in tragedy. Many are unfortunately a result of owners not knowing the dangers of exercising their dogs in temperatures to hot for them to handle.

Heat-related illnesses are almost always preventable. DONT TAKE THE RISK and make sure your pet isn’t overheating in the sun.

Temperatures over 24 degrees will be uncomfortable for most of our dogs, so make sure you are walking them at the coolest times of the day or simply keep them at home and give them some mental stimulation and enrichment things to do instead.

If you think your dog may be suffering from heat stroke, contact your vet immediately! If out-of-hours, find your nearest emergency vet.

☀️ HOT WEATHER REMINDER ☀️

As we’re meant to be having a mini heatwave coming, we wanted to give everyone a quick reminder about our hot weather procedures to help keep all dogs safe and comfortable 🐾

We are very strict when it comes to hot weather and will always put the dogs’ safety first.

Please expect earlier pick-ups and drop-backs than usual during hotter days.

Walks may be changed to:
🐶 Early morning walks
🏡 Home check-ins

If any changes are needed, we will message everyone individually by 5pm the day before.

We will always do our best to fit everyone in, but if this isn’t possible, a home check will be carried out instead. Priority will be given to dogs who are home alone all day, while also considering each dog’s age, breed, and size to ensure their safety in the heat.
