Yesterday’s launch went so so well and we are unbelievably grateful for all of your orders and support 🥹

It’s so true that when you order from a small business, we do a little happy dance each time an order comes through - in fact, in our house, whenever we hear that little bell notification we say an audible “thank you” 🫶🏼

I adore going through your orders and looking at what you’ve chosen, it genuinely makes me so happy and I can’t wait to see what your pups think of their goodies - please tag me in any posts/stories or message me, I promise you nothing brings me more joy than seeing happy pups 🥰

I’ll be shipping all launch orders Monday morning with Royal Mail and you’ll receive your tracking emails tomorrow!

IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT/UPDATE TO THE WEBSITE

We have been monitoring the situation this weekend and are really disappointed in Lickimat and their conduct and therefore we have removed all Lickimat products from our website and will no longer be stocking their products.

For those who are unaware of the situation, yesterday (8th March) they invited Adam Spivey from Southend Dog Training to their stand for a book signing. This was posted to their Instagram account and they have since deleted the post. Many of us have raised our concerns with Lickimat and as of yet, no public statement has been provided.

Through their association with Southend Dog Training, I do not believe our ethos and values align with Lickimat and I do not support their actions. I believed them to be a company pushing to promote positive reinforcement and ethical guardianship however I no longer believe this. A&G Pet Co is a reflection of myself and I do not agree in selling products and brands that I do not agree with.

I have also included Lickimat’s email reply to which I think says everything we need to know.

I am now working to replace the Lickimat items we had in stock and I will inform you all in due course on this.

And yes, I prefer the term “dog parent” (I know many of you do as well!) over “dog owner” as I believe it reflects the view that dogs aren’t just pets but are integral members of our families 🫶🏼
