Pretty stoked with the results from my first trip up to Dalby. Tried a variation to previous programs by competing the sale horses (All young) at the QLD state show the week before, then the 5 yr old and under challenge at Dalby.
They just got better and achieved results far and above my expectations.
This will set them up for a bright future with their new owners and we wish them all the success in the future.

Lot 69-Kirkbys Stud Pasito-on behalf of Kirkbys Stud Stock Horses.
Sold to JMF Livestock for $18,000.

Lot 81-Tarrawonga La Niña-on behalf of Tarrawonga Stock Horses.
Sold to Paul Noon for $15,000.

Lot 318-Royal Regal Flame sold for $9000.

Lot 69-Kirkbys Stud Pasito is only 3 and placed against 46 great young horses that were 5 and under.

Lot 81-Tarrawonga La Niña follows up her hack and working wins last week at QLD state show and now adds campdraft performance with it on a big stage.

Flame competed at the ASH Nationals as a 2 year old with success.
Since then he’s had general farm work and competed at QLD state show at Warwick with a 2nd in the hack class.
Comfortable canter and working his cattle well. Easy to do everything with.
His Sire cleaned up in the Royals show ring.
His dam was very successful and the dam of dam of other highly successful progeny.

La Niña is a super consistent mare who has been exposed to most things. Her training level is advanced with flying changes, stops, roll backs etc.
Her first campdraft was at Swan Hill where she performed very well scoring 19 & 20 camps plus achieving a peg and a half each run where I chose not to push her too hard first up setting her up for the future.
This is a very solid, easy going mare.

Her Sire line needs no introduction as he has already produced consistent and competitive progeny.

Her Dam was a super successful ladies mount having won multiple champion ridden ASH classes as well as campdraft success.
Maia has numerous successful ridden siblings including Chalani Tempo who I have competed extensively Australia wide with success.

La Niña will be competing in some classes at QLD sate show at Warwick 29/30th-December and also the 5year old and under challenge at Dalby prior to the sale.

Every horse won or placed in something throughout the event.

Mobile Pricetag 1st Phillip Kirkby Memorial Stallion draft-his 21st Open win as sweet as any.😃

Kaspers Versace-won the highest cutout in the Mares draft. 2nd in the first round of the Open.

Coolum Ovation-equal 5th in the 2nd round of the Maiden Series.
Also =6th in the 3 round Maiden Series and 7th in the Novice-I must say she was getting tired by the end with all of her great runs against some top class competitors.

Maddy Teague & WILLINGAPARK GUCCIS DESTINY will go into the Marblewood Performance Horses Mare Campdraft Final at the top of the table this afternoon, posting 90pts in R1.

Just one point off the pace, all on 89pts at the end of R1, are David Murphy & MOBILE STARLINE, Cal Gibson & GIBS SNEAKY CAT, Cameron Bond & BUNGABAN LANI ACRES, Carl Green & HAZELWOOD CONTREAU and Maddy Teague & GREENVALE REANNA.

Super Special weekend at Charlton Campdraft.
Mobile Pricetag 1st Open
Kaspers Versace 2nd Open
They both ran an 89 and 87 and I had to run the stablemates off against each other.

Sunday morning saw a similar result in the maiden,
Mobile Starline 1st 89-86
Coolum Ovation 2nd. 84-85
Coolum Ovation-owned by Kirkbys Stud Stock Horses backed this result up with an equal 5th in the Novice.

Special note here with Starline being the last horse that Baz ever drafted and placed on at 77 years young😃

Once was special but twice is unreal⭐️
Mobile Pricetag wins the SCA Champion Open horse 2024-25 season backing up from winning the title in the 19-20 season.

Firstly I have to thank all the campdraft committees throughout the SCA, cattle donors, volunteers and the sponsors that help keep this sport going and growing.

Secondly to my clients and friends that are involved with my business-I appreciate any help and support along the way and hopefully I’ve busted my ass and done enough in return😂-Let’s see what our team can do next season.

Thirdly-Back when I broke my leg I had some spare time I let the Banjo Patterson out in me and wrote a poem about Pricetag so I thought I might share it, so here goes😃

He’s my mate
You see
This c**t
And me

We have a bond
And it’s so strong
Lucky you may say
Its been our only way

Since his birth
To when the saddle
Slipped round his girth

We never argue
Or disagree
We just go about it
Happily

If you too are lucky
To have a horse like this

This Queensland trip so far has been insane. Met so many legend people, throw in some super campdrafts at Mungindi and Eumamurrin where all the horses have scored. Topped off by selling Mobile Jessie J to a great young man with a huge future campdrafting.

Clearchoice Contiki-scores so far-86,87,88,89
With a 3rd in the novice at Eumamurrin.

Mobile Starline-2 maidens 2 finals-5th at Mungindi,10th at Eumamurrin.

Kaspers Versace-86 Open for Open just off places and 88 in the Open-Oh so close to back it up but no eventual joy in the final all at Eumamurrin.

Glendeen Arna-my newby on the team-87 first run for second in the maiden at Mungindi.

Riverglen Jamaica and Mobile Pricetag are building nicely with smaller scores so far.
My last run on Jessie J finished with a completed course😃
Judged the Novice B and Ladies at Eumamurrin which just leaves Western Australian as the only state I haven’t judged at in 2025.
