Morning All! Long time no post! 😅 Guess I have just been very busy making all my gorgeous customers look fresh and fabulous! 🐶🤩

I am fully booked from 25th Nov until the NY, so I’m afraid I can’t fit any more pooches in for the festive period….

HOWEVER, I do have a number of spaces available before then! It’s been a while since I fully opened my books, so now is your chance! 😜

If you would like to book an appt in the next 4 weeks, please drop me a message, or call or text me on 07871529506.

And just FYI, Im afraid I cannot groom larger breeds anymore, due to an ongoing back injury. Sorry! 🥲❤️

A huge thank you to all my wonderful customers, for their generous gifts, for their loyal custom, and for being just generally awesome 🤩

I shall miss all the doggo’s over the next two weeks, but it’s been a manic month trying to squeeze everyone in, so I am putting my feet up and taking a well earned break 😅 Thankfully I have a lot of gifted wine to get me through 🤪

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎅🏼❤️🥳

Good Morning All! I hope everyone is safe and well ❤️

I am getting a large amount of appt enquiries from new customers at the moment, but unfortunately my books are full, so I cannot take on any new clients at this time.

Thank you for thinking of me and sorry that I cannot be of help right now ❤️

Best wishes, Gemma xx

I hope everyone is well and enjoying the slow climb to some sort of normality!

I am getting an exceptionally high number of requests for appointments at the moment, so I thought it was worth popping a post up.

NEW CUSTOMERS
I’m afraid I’m not taking on any new customers! Sorry for any disappointment!

REGULAR CUSTOMERS
My current waiting time for an appointment is 8 weeks. I am so sorry for any inconvenience. I just want to give an explanation and apology to my regular customers, as I’m really struggling to fit everyone in. My staff member Hannah moved to Orkney last year, and due to Covid restrictions I was not able to replace her immediately. I am now training up a new member of staff, but she will only be working one day a week. Therefore I have less appointments available than before. I haven’t actually taken on any new customers for about 2 years - well before Covid, so the current situation with the waiting time is due to a combination of Covid restrictions, the regular summer rush, and my decreased appt slots. I am trying my hardest to fit everyone in, so please book your appointments in advance if you want to stay on a regular appt interval.

If you have any queries, please get in touch!

Thanks
Gemma 🐶❤️🐶❤️🐶 ###

Good Afternoon All!

As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Wales will be heading into a Tier 4 lockdown from Dec 28th.

I am currently awaiting confirmation from the Health and Safety department at Neath Port Talbot Council as to whether I will be required to close, as once again Pet Services have been left off the list provided by the Government. My insurance company requires written confirmation from my Local Authority, so I will not be able to open unless they give me permission to do so.

I will not rearrange any of the existing January appts until I know for sure what I will be doing going forward. Hopefully I should have more information by the end of the week.

I am currently fully booked until I close for Xmas, so I will not be able to bring any appts forward sorry!

Thanks so much for all your continued support and patience. Let’s hope 2021 will be a better year for us all! ###

Good News! The salon will be opening from Monday 1st June!

Obviously we have quite a backlog of customers who missed their regular appts during lockdown, so in order to give Priority to my regulars I will not be taking on any new customers at this time.

If you are a regular customer and have not already heard from me, please get in touch.

Can’t wait to see you all again soon! 😃❤️🐶

Hi All! I hope everyone is well and having a lovely Easter Sunday, despite the ongoing situation ❤️

I have received a few messages from customers concerned about how to look after their dogs coats whilst they are unable to get them groomed professionally. So I want to share a few links and tips on how you can care for your pooch at home.

I have attached some detailed guides which are great for home grooming. Generally, straight coated dogs can use the Cocker Spaniel guide, and Curly Coated dogs should use the Doodle guide. I would recommend using a slicker brush (one without plastic tips on the pins) and a metal comb. Ensure you brush from root to tip first, use the brush to loosen any knotty or matted areas, and then use the metal comb to tease out any remaining knots. You should be aiming to comb the coat out easily from root to tip.

With regards to keeping your dog cool in hot weather, I would suggest the following;

• Only walk them early morning or in the evening when the weather is cooler.
• Have fresh cold water available at all times.
• Keep them in the shade, even if they want to be in the sun.
• Put down cold damp towels for them to lay on.
• Invest in a cooling mat (available online)

If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call or text. Miss you all! Stay safe ❤️
