UPDATE- Thank you to everyone for sharing and messaging. Buttons going to a lovely home Thursday so fingers crossed he settles in and it all works out! 💛

Button is a three year old cockapoo, he’s currently in foster care and awaiting his forever home. His previous owner; a single elderly lady with no children had to give him up due to declining health.

He’s an extremely loving dog, very keen to bond and please. He loves swimming and playing ball, he’s very energetic and active but a fairly easy off lead walk. His recall is good and he mostly stays within proximity. He interacts well with other dogs out and about, although occasionally protective of his ball but nothing excessive.

At home he’s generally well behaved and quiet, no excessive barking etc.

He’s a very appreciative dog and you get a sense he understands his current predicament, eager to bond and show affection, he would make a very rewarding companion for the appropriate owner.

He has had very little exposure to young children and would therefore likely be unsuitable for any household with them. Likewise households with cats. Households with multiple dogs will likely be fine.
