I write this post with much sadness, the one and only Boycie, passed away yesterday peacefully at home with his family. We love you Boycie and your memory will carry on with every dog walk and ball chuck. Lots of love Nanny xx

❗ Update on Coate Water Splash Park ❗

We are pleased to announce that Coate Water’s Splash Park is now ready to be re-opened and will be open from 10:00am to 4.30pm over the weekend and next week.

Our engineer has been at the park since this morning to get the pump working again and we will be looking to upgrade some of the components in the near future, to prevent any further issues.

With a hot few days ahead, remember to stay safe in the sun:

👒 Wear water proof sunscreen and a hat
💧 Drink plenty of fluids
☀️ Try to keep out of the sun between 11am to 3pm, when the UV rays are strongest

Councillor Matty Courtliff, the Council’s Cabinet Member for Culture, Heritage, Leisure and Town Centre Experience, said: “I know how important the splash park is to parents across Swindon and our team has prioritised their work to get it back open.

“I’m really glad the team has fixed the issues and we have reopened safely for children to enjoy in the good weather.”

With the car in sight I let Duke and Rifle have the last 5 minutes of their walk by chasing the ball. Duke never seems to run out of energy!!
