As a dog walker, I don’t think I’ve had a summer quite as difficult to work through as this year. These high temperatures mean balancing early mornings, short days, shuffling clients EVERY SINGLE DAY, cancelled walks, last minute pop ins and a lot of lost income… I cannot thank my clients enough for continuing to support me and being so understanding to the constant shuffling.

I worry that these are the summers of the future, it’s easy to spiral down a doom and gloom hole so I find it helpful to find my silver linings… the sunrises have been exquisite. I count my lucky stars that get to spend every day out in our stunning countryside and witness to truly beautiful sights.
I’m so very grateful for by business, that I’m lucky enough to walk dogs for a living and that people trust me with their beloved family members. So thank you again and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some cooler weather!
