What a wonderful idea and has made my week. Thank you to the very lovely family who has rehomed bunnies from me. They are so well loved 🥰

It’s been a minute.

But look who has turned into king of the castle (or should I say rabbitry), Sparrow.

Life updates, include Albert (who is over at Mikey & Hutch Happy Bunnies - Home of HappyRock Stud) is now expecting his first new arrivals. He has also in his last few shows gained a championship diploma!

Moose is also expecting his first new arrivals next week 🧡

The tan project is well underway for 2026, courtesy of Jagger’s rabbits with providing me with the stock to start out.

Mojito turned two! And Paris is next in January 🎂

We did attend two shows over the weekend. The results were disappointing to say the least but there is nothing like judges keeping you humble. The main reason really was the blue otter sisters had their first outings and took it like the champs they are, ready for Bradford.

That’s it for now but we appreciate any and all updates between now and the new year of all rehomed bunnies. Don’t worry I’ll do a special post.

Words can’t describe your loss 💔

3 years ago you came in to our lives and never did I think I’d be where I am today because of you.

I’ll be honest, I went into owning a rabbit knowing nothing (everyone has to start somewhere right? Adulting + adult money was the realisation here…) and naturally over the years we built a trusting and loving relationship whereby you ran up to me everyday, demanding cuddles and ‘brain crushes’, you were always by your best friend’s side, until we tragically lost her earlier this year too.

You came into our lives at just the right time. The endless entertainment is something I will always remember. I hope you know you are loved and will always be cherished as the one that started it all.

I could only dream that one day you’d meet our children. Blessed were you to experience how we built Flower’s corner, in her memory, where you could have the freedom of fun, friends and foraging.

Thank you for everything Thumper. I hope we get to meet again one day.

For now, go graze in greener pastures with Flower by your side 🌸🪽🌈

4am start. No sleep. Was it worth it? YES!

We took 3 buns to our first All Rex Show (clue is in the name) 🐰

Sparrow (my London Champ wild card), Adult Havana Results 🤩
🍫1st & 3* CC and 3rd self any age challenge (against 15 exhibits!) BMRC SS
🍫 1st Midland Rex Club SS & 2*CC
🍫 1st UK Rex Club SS & 3* CC AND my first blue ribbon 💙

This easily puts him as one of the best rabbits I’ve produced.

Finally, I took Finley, who is terrible for a black rabbit for a bit of a laugh really and really has made me push for trying to get rabbits into the challenges a lot more, against competition.

Autumn is here 🍂

It’s my favourite time of year.

It’s been quiet here at the stud. I’ve been stuck inside most of the week with flu. I’m grateful to my husband who has been taking care of everyone for me.

So I’ve kicked back with a good book and a cuppa ☕️

First year at London Championships ✅

Well done everyone and a HUGE thank you to the show team for pulling it off.

I had a fantastic weekend, an early birthday present to myself, by taking Albert and a wild card - Sparrow, Havana U5. I met up with some lovely friends, reacquainted with familiar faces from when I was showing in Swindon and even came home with a new trio which I’m super pleased with 🙈🥹 Thank you everyone who made it special.

I was blown away with the comments (from some top breeders and committee members) and the results.

Class of 2025 💜✨

Starting with the oldest to youngest.

Lyon is my husband’s pet. Enjoying life in a secure outside pen with the other pets including mum Paris 🥰

I can see in each rabbit (as they continue to grow too) where their strengths and weaknesses lie. I love that I have focused on head and shoulder depth this year but in doing so, I’ve lost some of the depth in the rump.

I’m hoping to fix that next year and we shall see what 2026 brings 🙌🏻

What a day that was 💜

Really interesting day all round for everyone at the North East Championships today.

Amazing atmosphere and met some lovely new faces, along with some familiar ones too!

We went along for fun as I took Kitt too, so it was nice to see so many tans out on the table, just a shame I couldn’t say the same for oranges but nevermind.

Good to be flying the flag for oranges here in the North East.

Looking forward to London next month.
