DOG OF THE WEEK

This week we're celebrating Gordon, a one-year-old Cane Corso with a big heart! This boy is a lovely bundle of fun. Though still sensitive to the world, he’s been making new friends and being instantly so affectionate, showing his goofy playful side but knowing when to slow it down and lean in to cuddles. He’s worked hard with handlers on walking nicely on lead and is in need of his people to continue his progress 🐶

Could you give Gordon his forever home ?

With a very warm weekend ahead of us please remember the animals will be gathering on the road sides to escape the biting flys and will be enjoying lying on the warm tarmac.
The animals have the legal right of way so please:

✅ pass all free roaming animals very slowly even when they look like they are grazing they can side step quickly into your driving path.

✅ give the animals plenty of room. The animals can kick out or knock into your vehicle.

✅ if you see any dangerous driving please submit dash cam footage into the link on our previous post. If you don’t have a dash cam you can still submit complaints via South wales police online form or by phoning 101.

✅ if you accidentally hit an animal even if it walks off it could be injured. Contact ourselves and contact South wales police 999 emergency 101 non emergency.

✅ please be mindful of other road users such as cyclists, walkers, horse riders etc we all have a right to enjoy our countryside.

❌don’t let animals suffer at the side of the roads by not reporting it.
❌ don’t speed, enjoy Gower’s beautiful countryside we are trying to preserve it for you all to enjoy.

This is one of the busiest weekends and the weather is looking good ☀️☀️
Please enjoy Gower and help us protect it for generations to come by protecting our free roaming animals 🙏

Have a lovely weekend everyone ☀️☀️☀️
