Bishopston Kennels & Kittle Cattery

Bishopston Kennels & Kittle Cattery Bishopston Kennels was founded in 1988 by Gareth and Claire Williams. Our ethos is, they need to be ‘Safe, well fed, warm and content’.

Located at The Orchards on Barlands Common, Bishopston, Swansea, our boarding kennels and cattery offer your pets a warm, comfortable and loving atmosphere to stay in whilst you enjoy a well-deserved break! The aim was to create a new kennel that concentrated not just on the physical health of the boarding dogs and cats but also on their mental well-being. Contentment being something that you real

ly do have to work at. Although we are a relatively small kennels we are by far the most experienced in the Swansea West area. With having over 30 years of continuous working experience in animal husbandry. As kennel life is so vastly different from home life, we've made our kennels more of a happy summer camp environment, with lots of new things to see and experience but also with a set daily itinerary so that pets get to know there'll be a down time for a daily nap. Our standards are very high, from cleanliness to the quality of foods we provide and applied to everything we do. Our cattery is a separate entity ([email protected]) that stands apart from the kennels. You'd have to see the cats just to believe how chilled they are ,we have some of the largest cat chalets available. The cattery is light and airy and has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of window sunshine, heated sleeping quarters, scratch posts, toys and pots of fresh grass to mooch in. If you are new to the whole pet boarding experience , you can either email/message us here for any questions you have or phone the kennel line and leave your contact number for us to return your call.

Hi everyone,

Good news, the bridge is no longer flooded, so we’re back to our regular opening hours!
However, the strong winds knocked a tree onto our phone and internet line, so we’re currently offline. We expect to have everything back up and running by tomorrow evening. This does not affect physical access to the business, so drop-off and collect at the usual times👍

Apologies for any late replies, we'll get back to everyone as soon as we can. Thank you!

So please message us at [email protected] for up dates.
Sorry folks.

Wanted to give an early notice to all our regulars.
We will be closed from Monday 12th January and re-opening on the Friday 13th February .
As the kennels is going on for 39 years, it's time for some refurbishment. Hopefully you'll all be too exhausted from Christmas and New year celebrations to want to go away.
Will keep you posted.
Claire and crew.
