A fantastic outing today at Blaenavon & District Show for 2yr old filly Celton Moondance (aka Danni). This being her second ever outing, Danni went beautifully and showed great composure, coming 1st in her mixed 2 and 3 yr old class, then standing Youngstock Champion, before finally finishing Reserve Overall B Champion in a strong championship class.

Our final foal of 2026…. Celton Vanity’s first foal, and what a cracker this filly foal is. We’ve been very fortunate with foaling this year, and several of the foals will be looking for new homes at weaning. We will start offering those which will be looking for pasture new, once we’ve made our very difficult decisions!

Foaling 2026 is progressing nicely here at Celton stud. There seem to be a couple of natural young posers, and Pennwood Tlws looking fantastic in the Welsh sunshine. Celton Moonwalker (aka Buzz) has certainly made his mark, and is proving to be a consistent and valuable sire.

We’ve been a bit quiet on socials recently, but foaling is well under way here at Celton Stud. 4 fillies and 1 c**t so far, and a few more yet to arrive - individual photos will be posted over the coming weeks.
We’ve also been to our first show of the season with 2yr old Celton Moondance, and there will be plenty more to follow with her and a couple of others.
