Our future bookings are getting busier, we have weeks 6+ ahead that are becoming booked up.

We are constantly taking on new customers which is amazing for us as we now have around 200 dogs on our system & we will carry on taking on new customers until we physically can’t anymore! But we would hate for people who have been using us from the beginning to not be able to get back in with us if they wish to!

Although we are currently doing our best to accommodate everyone and not turn anyone away there are only two of us and only so many hours in the day. 😅

💨 𝐘𝐎𝐎-𝐇𝐎𝐎 𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐖 𝐎𝐔𝐓 💨

It’s snowing hair at House of Hounds! Sasha has topped the table on her de-shed results! Sasha is a rescue American Akita who is the most beautiful soul inside & out 💕

She came into us last week for a bath, dry & de-shed & is hopefully so much cooler now we have removed all of that undercoat! ☀️

We love every dog we have the privilege to groom but we’ve been desperate to do a poodle trim since we’ve been open at House of Hounds. 🐕

Why use us at House of Hounds for your dog grooming needs??..

It's not always easy to pick somewhere to take your furry friends and there's certainly lots of things to consider and lots of choice.
But this is about us at House of Hounds and what we aim to offer. 🙂

🐾 We will do our very best to put your dog at ease, we truly love meeting your fur babies and giving them the attention they deserve (treats always on hand too!) 🐕
Ultimately we will do our best to make things easy for your dog, we don't want them to have a bad experience, if that means we have to take a little longer, or stop for a treat and water break then that's fine by us. 😊

🐾 We do our best to tailor our appointments to yours & your fur baby's needs.
Examples:
- If your dog isn't a fan of other dogs, let us know so we can arrange a time out of hours or when we have no other dogs in.

-They aren't used to being in a crate? Not an issue, we schedule our appointments so that there is always at least one of us dedicated to your dog at all times.

-Struggling to get to the shop? We offer a collection & delivery service! We can pick them up & bring them back to you fully groomed! 🚗

🐾 Our bath and main grooming table are in our shop, on the shop floor, in full view.
We always ask our dog parents to return when we have finished the groom but this is to help settle your dog, feel free however to take a peek through our front window and see how your fur baby is settling in. 😊

🐾 We will take the time to go through how you want your dog to look, we think this is important as not one cut suits everyone or your needs, and we think it's the same for our furry friends.
We will advise on what is possible given coat condition and practicality, but we think it's important for you to have a say. 🐕

🐾 If your dog has sensitive skin, we can advise on the best shampoo to use, we have a sensitive option, and a range of others to suit coat types.
We were passionate about the products we purchased to use on our grooms when we started House of Hounds. We have chosen products we believe in, that are kind to your dogs skin and fur, containing natural ingredients such as Aloe Vera and Coconut Oil while being SLS and paraben free! 😊
