A little blood test, a more informed decision 🐾

Our Titer Testing Day is back at The Empawrium on Sunday 22nd November 2026, in partnership with veterinarian Jack Garvey.

Titer testing checks antibodies in your dog’s blood to help guide vaccination decisions. It may show that another core booster isn’t needed just yet, helping you plan care that suits your dog.

Here’s how it works:
🐶 Book a 10-minute slot.
🩸 Your dog will have a blood sample taken in our grooming salon, with only one dog seen at a time.
📧 The sample will then be tested and your results sent by email.
🩺 Vet Jack Garvey will provide support with understanding the results and what they mean for your dog.

Titer testing doesn’t replace every vaccination, but it can help you and your vet make informed choices.

Today we made a visit to MDN Social at Buzzards Valley for some very tasty brunch.

The weather wasn't particularly lovely but the food was and the dogs were very welcome inside.

Fresh, local ingredients cooked to a great standard - definitely recommend!
