Bonded pair Lola & Otis are looking for a forever home TOGETHER.

As is typical with their breed, these little ones have LARGE personalities, full of energy, curiosity & loyalty, as well as being quite vocal too!

They are a lovely, funny, happy, affectionate, playful & bouncy duo looking for a second chance.

SETH NEEDS A HOME

Seth is a much loved dog at the Trust. He's fun, affectionate & has lots of energy to burn. He is a Romanian rescue (via a different dog rescue) who was surrendered to us in the UK.

We imagine he was previously a street dog, so has known starvation. This being the case, he naturally resource guards his food.

This can be managed by taking advice from a behaviourist who will give you a simple set of guidelines/routines/rules to follow regarding feeding, boundaries & food in general like no feeding off your own plate etc...

🐾 DOB: 10/05/20

🐾 Male

🐾 Large

🐾 Must be the only dog in the house

🐾 Not suitable to live with young children

🐾 Lots of fun energy

🐾 Resource guards food

🐾 Has a bite history

🐾 Needs to be homed with an experienced dog owner

🐾 Keeps a clean kennel

🐾 Neutered

🐾 As Seth has been with us for a while we would ideally PACE any adoption, ensuring the transition from M> to his new family is a success. Initially starting with short visits & walks building up to home visits & overnight stays until both Seth and his new family have built a confident bond with one another.

🐾 Gets on with some dogs, but would be best suited being the only dog in the home

🐾 Boots loves a good fuss

🐾 Boots likes people

🐾 Fully house trained

🐾 Boots likes playing with toys

🐾 Boots has a lovely temperament, he's the perfect combination of energetic & chilled out

🐾 Boots resource guards his toys, so would not be suited to living with a young family

🐾 As Boots resource guards, he needs to live with someone who has previous experience with resource guarding, who understands the procedures that needs to be put in place & continued within the home environment

PIKACHU NEEDS A HOME

Pikachu is a Romanian rescue dog that was brought into the UK by a different rescue. The original adoption fell through & Pikachu had nowhere to go as the original rescue does not have UK kennels/RBU... Inevitably leaving Pikachu & his owner in a difficult situation. We of course said we would help.

We understand that Pikachu has had a very difficult start to life. Therefore, Pikachu needs a very special home with a patient, understanding & experienced owner.

When evaluating potential adopters for Pikachu, we are looking for individuals with a calm & emotionally grounded temperament. Rescue dogs like Pikachu are highly intuitive & naturally mirror human emotional states, & a nervous, intense or easily unsettled handler can inadvertently increase a rescue dog's anxiety.

Conversely, an adopter who exhibits patience & emotional stability provides the steady leadership vulnerable dogs like Pikachu require to build trust & THRIVE. Once Pikachu trusts you, he is a wonderfully FUN loving dog who is well worth putting in the work for as you will be rewarded with a loyal best friend.

🐾 Consequently, he is scared of loud noises, lorries etc so would need to live in a quiet child free home & environment

🐾 Although Pikachu gets on with most dogs, he is better suited to being the only animal in the house

🐾 Needs a quiet home with minimal visitors
