On today’s mooch……
Amber, Roman and Luna went to the beach. It was lovely and quiet now all the fair weather dog walkers have gone 😜 Amber remembered about her favourite rock pool and ran straight to it for a dip. Roman was obsessed with digging for stones, he found a perfect one and wouldn’t let Amber anywhere near it! In the end I had to bury it!
Next Chip, Rex, Kala and Luna went to the woods. Kala was looking all over for the birds that she could hear. Chip and Rex were so happy to be reunited again, they were walking as close as possible to each other. Kala liked to come in the middle and try and get the attention 😜 They were all so cute trying to climb over the logs.
Lastly Maddie, Macy and Luna had a walk through the woods. We saw some bunnies run into the bushes so Maddie and Macy went wild! I’ve never seen them go crazy 🤪 They soon calmed when they realised the rabbits were gone. Then we had a nice chilled walk.

On today’s mooch……
Amber, Roman and Luna went to the field. Today Roman decided he would switch alliances and be besties with Luna. They plodded along together whilst Amber ran around enjoying some peace! She loved galloping through the long grass and pretending she was dead when I was shouting of her 😜
Next Nina, Henry, Rex and both Lunas had a walk along the track from Ryhope to Seaham, not that we got anywhere near Seaham with this tootling little bunch! We saw Maddie and Me with her dogs so they got to say hi and have a little play. They loved exploring the new smells along the path.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of Rosie’s passing. She was a loved member of our Mooch that Pooch family and brought so much joy and love into our lives, and I'm heartbroken to say goodbye. We will miss her terribly. Thoughts are with her family and sister Poppy at this awful time.

On today’s mooch……
Amber, George, Roman and Luna had a walk at Doxford Park. Roman loved being with the big dogs again and following them around like a sheep! Amber remembered where we were and was gutted her little plodging stream was dry. She had a walk up and down in it just incase 😜 George wasn’t fussed on the builders doing the new estate so we walked out of the woods onto the path, he enjoyed exploring here much better as it was quieter.
Next Oscar, Betty, Rosco and both Lunas went to the dene. It was lovely and shaded in here for the little gang to keep cool. Oscar and Rosco were determined to try and find the bird that they could hear in the distance, I feel like mrs muscle now 😜 Betty enjoyed dipping her toes in the stream, she didn’t want to go too far in! Luna was rummaging in the undergrowth and came out covered in grass seeds, I think I managed to pick them all out 😜

On today’s mooch…….
Amber, George and Luna went to the dene. They absolutely loved the water. As soon as I let them off lead they were sprinting to be first in! Amber was tempted to lie down in it but the excitement to move to the next bit kept her up. George was trying to dig for the best stones like he was snorkelling. They should definitely sleep tonight with all of the running and fallen tree obstacles.
Next Roman, Rosco, Skye, Kala and both Lunas had a walk to the field. Kala and Rosco were like the naughty school children of the group, they were copying each others every move. When they weren’t next to each other they were looking around and pulling to be next to each other. Skye was super happy to see Emily who came to help today, she did anything for a stroke. Roman and Luna were minding their own business and plodding along taking in the smells.

On today’s mooch……
Amber, George and Luna were reunited with Max. As soon as I let Max off lead he went hurdling towards his friends and I thought aw bless him he’s missed them, but no he had spotted a rabbit and shot off after it 🙄 He did come back when the rabbit disappeared into the bushes. After that he tried to play with Amber, running round and round her. She was too hot to join him and even had a lie in the shade. George ran after him but made a sharp exit when Max wanted to chase him!
Next Roman, Rosco and both Lunas went to the dene. It was getting warm now so we went to the most shaded place we could think of. They loved having a dip in the stream and eating the long grass - it must have been tasty. Luna and Rosco looked like a scene off lady and the tramp sharing the long strands of grass 😜

On today’s mooch……
Amber, Roman and Luna were first out. Amber soaking from slithering through the wet grass. There was also a couple of puddles for her the plodge about in, she loved that! Roman followed her like a lost little puppy again, only he didn’t run this time it was far too warm!
Next Rosco, Teddy, Kala and both Lunas had a stroll along the path. Kala was doing her stop and rolls to get the other dogs to look at her. It took us a while to get anywhere with her party trick, but it was good as it slowed the walk down in the warm weather! Teddy was having a good sniff about, he must have found something smelly as the drool was hanging like a lace from his mouth! Luna and Rosco were dying to bounce on each other but they have to have an on lead walk sometimes 😜
Lastly Maddie, Macy and Luna had a walk through the woods. The shade was a welcome rest from the heat. Macy just wanted treats the whole time so I had to try not to make eye contact with her 😂 Maddie seemed to like the warmer weather as she was much more spritely today.

On today’s mooch……
Amber, Roman and Luna had a trip to the field. Roman gets so excited when he sees he is out with Amber! As soon as I let them off lead he was off stalking her! I think Amber was trying to camouflage in the long grass to escape him 😜
Next Rosco, Rex and both Lunas went to the field. I feel like I haven’t seen Rex for ages, I got some lovely cuddles before he rolled in 💩 Welcome back Rex 😂 Rosco and Luna went wild chasing each other all over the place. I don’t know who has the most energy! At least they went home nice and tired 😜

On today’s mooch……
Amber, George and Luna went to the field. We did have a ball but Amber dropped it and forgot where within the first 5 seconds 😜 Nice calm walk today, I think they burnt their energy off all week and it’s catching up with them. Amber had a sniff of the flowers while George was eating the bird poo 😂
Next Oscar, Betty, Rosco, Roman and both Lunas went to the field. Betty was centre of attention today and she was loving it, she was the main play instigator and everyone wanted to be with her. Roscos energy was off the scale now he had Betty playing and Luna racing him up and down the tracks, she’s so speedy even he couldn’t keep up. There was a rabbit moving in the bushes which caught everyone’s attention, good job it was so thick they couldn’t get through!
Lastly Oscar and Luna had a walk on the track behind Tunstall Hill. Oscar was intrigued with some chickens 🐓 Then we saw his friend Max coming along the track with his Dad. I was nearly catapulted into next week when they recognised each other. We then saw a man that we usually see at the beach, Oscar knows he gives him treats, so we had another wiggly excited dance to get to him 😂

On today’s mooch…..
Amber, George and Luna went to the field. George found a plastic bottle and was spinning in circles with it, he was so excited. To his disappointment Amber wasn’t bothered he had it, he tried his hardest to make it look good and he even rolled on it but she wasn’t tempted to chase him. We took a different path today so Amber was too busy exploring and sniffing.
Next Nina, Henry, Skye, Rosco, Teddy, Roman and Luna went to the field. They had some off lead play which they love! Rosco and Teddy were off like a shot when we heard something rustling in the bushes. Everyone else was too busy enjoying the fun! Skye booped all of her friends to get them to chase her, Nina and Henry loved to oblige. Roman enjoyed running with them but always had to check in on me incase I was opening the treat pouch! All the group send get well wishes to Jess, their little friend has hust her paw - Get well soon Jess 🥰
Lastly Poppy, Rosie, Kala and Luna had a walk along the path and into a field. It was very warm after the rain, everyone’s tongue was hanging out! Kala loved Poppy and Rosie and was running along side them wanting to sniff everything they were. Poppy and Rosie loved exploring the long grass.

On today’s mooch…….
Amber, George and Luna had the field to themselves this morning. They are starting to calm down a bit now they have seen each other for a couple of days 🥰 We had a nice chilled walk today, they still had a bit run but most of it they were leisurely sniffing and enjoying the peace!
Next Poppy, Rosie, Roman, Rosco, Teddy and Luna had a walk along the riverside. Everyone was in a lovely mood today, plenty of smiles all round! Teddy even let Emily hold his lead, she’s been dying to conquer this friendship since the last 6 weeks and I think finally she has 😜 It was quite busy today but the little gang were well behaved and moved in when asked (apart from Rosco giving a little woof as people went passed) We were almost perfect 👌

On today’s mooch……
Amber, George and Luna went to the field. Amber had a roll about in the long grass and led George in to play chase. George’s super fast running tired her out and she enjoyed a good plod along the tracks. George was chomping at the bit to get past her but she wouldn’t take the hint 😜
Next Roman, Rosco, Teddy, Poppy, Rosie and both Lunas had a walk along the riverside. We were walking past the abandoned tent when the wind suddenly swept it up, it flew over our heads and into the river! The dogs got the shock of their lives - we did too! Don’t worry Rosco the brave saved everyone and barked at it 😜 Luna was especially wiggly today, I think she missed her friends.
Lastly Maddie, Macy and Kala had a walk through the woods. Poor Maddie got tangled in a branch, I couldn’t help but laugh because she looked like she had antlers! Kala was very calm today, the girls laid back attitude must have been rubbing off on her. They had to dodge lots of sticks that had blew down from last nights winds.
