🌻It's another glorious sunny day in Washington.

😎Soon enough he will take himself off to the cool shady area of the garden and get a drink of fresh water.
💦Over the last few hot days I've made sure there's serval places to drink from in and around my home.

An important part of a visit from Canine Companions is that its a calming experience for the dog.

Here is Teddy self soothing with his Rudolf toy. He has done this since he was a pup. At first glance it looks like something else 😏 but Teddy is using rudolf nose to mouth and eventually falls asleep 😴🥰

During Canine Companions visit to your home your pup will have a tailored experience taking into consideration your dogs specific needs and preferences.

1 hour visits consist of...

15 minutes for greeting, cleaning up any accidents as well as outside time in your garden or chosen safe place if you don't have a garden. During this time I focus on keeping the dog calm, feeling secure and confident.

30 minutes play time. This can include any favourite games, treat hunts, enrichment toys, trick training, puzzles etc. Towards the end of the 30 minutes I provide toys that encourage self soothing such as lick mats and kongs.
Dogs will never be left alone with toys!!

15 minutes Calming experiences. This could be brushing, stroking, sitting watching dog TV, listening to music with a massage or even have a story read to them... My dogs love story time!!

The cherry on the cake is.... This whole experience will be recorded on a go pro for you to watch back. Emailed to you on the evening of the visit. You can see how your dog is coping and wether the service suits your needs.

All of this for £12 per hour!! One on one with your own dog in your own home!

How does it all work?

Well let me tell you the whys and how's....

With several years experiences nurturing Romanian Rescue dogs I came to realise there is a need for home based support and enrichment for certain individual pups.

My own dogs would not do well with a dog walker and multiple dogs. But also cant be left for too long on their own.

With this in mind 🐶 Canine Companions🐶 was born.

Maybe you're going to the museum for the day?
A wedding?
You work long hours?
Your dog has seperation anxiety?

Well during those times when your dog would be alone we don't want them to suffer, trash the place because of stress or get themselves all worked into a tizz.

Our service is available 7 days a week, various hours for an affordable price.

Avoid walking your dogs between 11-3pm.
