It’s goodbye 👋🏼🤍🐶

After my maternity leave, I won’t be returning to dog grooming and will be officially closing KiLo Pet Grooming. This hasn’t been an easy decision, and it’s one I’ve thought about long and hard, but I’ve decided it’s time to take my career in a new direction.

I want to say a huge thank you to every single customer—so many of you who became friends over the years. From a newly qualified teenager to the adult I am today, your support has meant more than I could ever put into words, and it has never gone unnoticed or unappreciated 🩷

A little journey recap:
• 17 – I began my training with ICMG.
• 18 – I qualified, then went mobile & rented a table in Silksworth.
• 19 – Rented a house and worked from home through Covid.
• 20 – Opened my own salon!!!
• 21 & 22 – Continued to grow the business.
• 23 – Sold the salon to travel… then life had other plans as my baby boy arrived!So plan B, I rented tables in Birtley & Oxclose.
• 24 – Moving on to a brand new business venture, which I am so excited about.

It’s been a wild ride—full of lessons, growth, unforgettable moments, and the most amazing people (and pups 🐾). I’ll forever be grateful for this chapter, and I’m so excited for what’s next.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to jump on and say I have a list of groomer friends, who I can definitely recommend if you are a-bit stuck where to go.

Keep your dog looking and feeling their best this summer with these essential grooming tips:

✨ 1. Regular Professional Grooms
A summer groom keeps your dog’s coat light, tangle-free and helps regulate their body temperature.
