Greenmeads Stud is a small family stud on the Essex / Suffolk borders 15 mins from the A12. Our horses are an extension of our family and we know them all inside out. In addition to breeding we pride ourselves at giving each of them the opportunity to be broken to ride / drive and have a life outside that of broodmare or stud stallion. SOME prefer to stick to breeding and that is also respected. H

appy horses make us happy. We are home to some of the sons, daughters and grandchildren of the legendary Danaway flask-jack, nebo Daniel, Croniarth texas gold, Trevallion valentine, Terackie winter shadow, Davids cymru Llwyd, Janton renegade, Janton Meredith to name but a few! In addition to a true and pure love for welsh cobs for the last 38 years the stud was formed through a frustration that all of the quality dilute welsh cobs were a million miles away from Essex! In the forthcoming years we will be very proud to stand at stud two wonderful double dilute (cremello and perlino) stallions that will produce quality cobs, with the emphasis on excellent conformation, type, movement and temperament. Teamed with our hand picked broodmares we will be producing some excellent youngstock who in the future will be offered for sale to 10* homes. We love visitors and the kettle is always on for past, present and future owners- but please ring in advance to organise a convenient time

Greenmeads flash black aka “JACK” 14.2 smoky black welsh section D stallion out of full sister to Danaway cracklin rose “Danaway red rose” and by Greenmeads buddleja flash (tothamhill mister mattie sired by Danaway flash jack)

Crimond raptor WELSH SECTION A stallion out of littlewern honey be (amazing dyfed lines as well as some of my fav littlewern lines) and by PENBOETH VEGAS (again some of my fav revel lines inc revel josh and humming top)

We have some really exciting plans for these boys but both will be available to a few outside mares

This means we now have 5 incredible stallions at stud.

**We also have a stunning 4 year old 14.2 double cream traditional gypsy cob stallion and a 2 year old CREMELLO PINK PAPERED AES X WELSH c**t to make at the very least 15.2 **

Out of 13h registered section c mare cadfach Pandora aka lunar and by 14.2 Greenmeads the seducer (terminator lines) as his name would suggest he wasn’t the biggest when born so I’ve registered as a c now he’s caught up I think there’s a fair chance he will definitely be up to height and may even go over to make a cracking 14h worker Essex/Suffolk borders dam in comments

** next on my “special” cut down is the amazing HUGE aes x welsh cremello rising 2 year old (Welsh and eventing BREEDING IN PICS) CREMELLO C**T “Thor” he literally has it all. Despite him being a lanky streak of piddle at the moment he is so very special and he has “2 down “ Soppy as anything standing at 14.3 at the withers and 15h at the bum now so will make about 16hh!!! Out of a pink papered aes mare and by my 15.1/15.2 cremello pure welsh section d stallion Tresorya Indian shadow. He would be the most incredible asset to any stud wanting to breed quality AND guaranteed colour I am not breeding part breds although they rock ! Looking for a family / smaller stud where he won’t be a breeding machine where he will flourish xx
