Kittens are relieved that the temperature has reduced a bit. Cairo is showing his sister who’s boss, Tangerine is out for the count and Fred and Rawr are feeding from Mum. Babies are 7weeks old today. Where did that time go?

I wish I was Cairo right now!

Omg what a couple of weeks we have had! HUGE debt owed to Nev for keeping HQ thriving whilst I’ve been on nursemaid duties elsewhere.
Babies are now almost 6 weeks old and I absolutely adore this age. All are eating solid food (as well as milk obviously), starting to use the litter tray and having great fun exploring and having fun.
We have 2 named and will be meeting their forever families shortly. Where has that time gone?
When I say that it takes a certain family to have an orange kitty, I think these babies show that perfectly! Videos to follow. This is Cairo who is trying to join team tabby - Fred and Chocolate.

So….. now they are 3weeks old I’d like to introduce you to the first babies of 2026.

I take no responsibility for the ‘current’ names, but we have

Rarw is a red silver and white tabby girl, Chocolate is a brown silver tortie tabby female. Then the boys are Tangerine - Red and white tabby, Stripy is a red silver and white tabby and Coco - brown tabby (possible silver)

They are doing amazing and are just starting to think about exploring the kitten room.

I believe that the boys are potentially spoken for, but the 2 girls may be available. (However Nev is trying to convince me that Chocolate should stay!)

Huge thanks as always goes to Fiona Foster at Sequila Devon Rex for allowing us to love and spoil Georgia. The girl that stole my heart. ♥️

The cats have been enjoying us getting the Catio ready for the summer. The stink eye is strong in this house when they get disturbed from snoozing in the sun!

Spring is here and we are starting to think about babies. (This is a picture of Esme’s 2025 litter taken by the amazing Brenda Mitchell the.sphynx.squad who are the proud parents of 2 Bigglesworth babies).

My process is quite different to many other breeders, but it will never change. I am very fussy about where my babies go to and I love that 99% of my families stay in touch and keep me updated. I’m also a breeder that values the relationship between cats and all members of their forever families. Devon’s make incredible best friends and are so empathetic to those of us who are neurodivergent or need a bit extra love.

My kittens are fully registered, vaccinated, chipped and neutered before leaving (unless they are on the active register). If you are interested in a kitten in 2026, please reach out.

There MAY be a litter or British short/longhair this year. But I do only have 1 female and 1 male British at Bigglesworth now. With this in mind I would consider other like minded breeders using Mo at stud. He is a very handsome, black male who carries dilute and chocolate. B blood group. Please message to enquire.

A post that I knew I’d have to write one day, but I hoped that I would have more time. It all seems so unreal still.

Champion Willowood Adorabell aka Dora, bulldog, security specialist and matriarch of human, canine and felines at Bigglesworth Hq had an almost perfect last day today.

She did a spot of sunbathing, slept in front of the fire and enjoyed lots of treats and fuss before making her final journey.

Dora aged disgracefully. Only ever had 3 kittens, over 2 litters. She was the only cat I had to worn people about when they visited. Even at 17 she loved to bunny hop on your arm if you scratched her belly. She hated being brushed, she didn’t think she needed to groom herself and she snored loudly even when awake.

We have gone through so much together, We may have been able to have a couple more days together, but I could never see her suffer. The sun was shining and she’ll never be forgotten.

The end of an era and I know her many admirers will miss her.

Sleep tight, now reunited with Stan and taking on security at rainbow bridge.
